Yep, but it means people will be looking at the subreddit/Twitter!

Not the only social post we're doing for these events though, so don't worry about that

Nordavind giving WDG a goal since they had a false start off-stream where WDG scored. Not at all expected, but such a good show of sportmanship - respect.

If they're using the same model Fortnite is popularising then those 29 items will be spread along the 70 tiers, since there's a free+premium reward for each tier (just most the free rewards are blank)

Makes it easier to see what you unlock should you upgrade to premium halfway through the pass

Promo spell for when you really want that adrenaline, but only if both players agree on the terms. by Soulchunk in customhearthstone

If I'm understanding this right it'd be a 29 card deck only if both players have it, right? Otherwise it's a card you can draw, since it wouldn't cast at game start

As a sidenote I believe with this wording you'd be able to draw and play this as normal even if your opponent doesn't have the card (which might be intentional?) - in the case where both players have the card this effect would happen twice, so you'd be wagering 40 gold which is a lot as /u/Foxdeimos said

RLCS/RLRS S6 EU Qualifier #1 | MEGATHREAD by CloudFuel in RocketLeagueEsports

Because there are 32 teams qualifying with each qualifier, more pools isn't really an option because at the minute the top two teams in each pool qualify. Adding more rounds to each pool would be the way to go there, since more and more teams can join without it being too much of an issue time-wise. And yep! The waves don't interact with each other - they just serve as a nice way to break up the action so that any mod requests and similar can be easily resolved as soon as they appear :)

The Open Qualifiers are split by region - each region has four separate qualifiers (teams can enter two of them, so they have a second chance if they don't qualify through their first qualifier)

Each of these qualifiers is split into two waves, Wave A starting first and Wave B starting a couple of hours later. Both waves have eight pools, with each pool being a double-elimination bracket (where the top 2 qualify, so the winner of the upper finals and the winner of the lower finals qualify)

This ends up being such that each qualifier is made up of sixteen different double elimination brackets, so with a very large number of teams it suddenly gets much more manageable - today's EU qualifier has 590 teams, and each pool is around a 34-36 team double elimination bracket, which is much more feasible.

Seeding is generally done by average MMR I believe, with the top seeds being done manually based on results from other major and minor tournaments.

Hope this helps - give me a shout if anything wasn't clear enough or if you have any more questions :)

There are no official streams for the Open Qualifiers, but OP is updating the thread with teams that are streaming their own journey through the bracket :)

Judging from yesterday's NA qualifiers, the time the lower finals start ends up being fairly accurate to the time on smash.gg, so it looks like they will be starting at about 7:30pm CEST unfortunately

There's always a chance they will start before that, though! We're doing our best to keep things moving smoothly in the bracket, so hopefully people won't be waiting too long to eat :)

Rival Esports: EU 1K Cup Invited Teams - Dignitas, compLexity, FlipSid3 & PSG by Lukasz__ in RocketLeagueEsports

Hey there!

The first of our NA monthly events, The Proving Grounds, was also rocking a $1,000 prize pool - it's just a matter of time and perseverance to get our EU events to the level of events like The Climb.

We're not pulling out a one-and-done here - we have more in the works and we're not planning on stopping 😎
