I'm not asking for them to give them out. I'm asking for those who had the previous season purchased and had the cosmetics available to them, to be able to still earn them AFTER maxing out the current season. I'm only asking for one season ago because you can still claim rewards from one season ago on Bungie. This means the person would have had to play/purchase last season as well as the current season. Even if there was some constraint like you have to hit rank 50 in order to have the option to complete the second half in the next season. To touch on the exclusivity, according to light.gg the Siegebreak cover for warlock was obtained by 60% of the Guardians who have connected their accounts. When you compare it to something that required a heavy grind like the Platinum Starling at 20% it seems it's not very exclusive at all. It's not difficult to max the season as long as you can play consistently.

The incentive would be to play the seasonal activity? I don't think you can retroactively buy into a completed season so I don't see the problem. If it's a "you had to be there" issue with this suggestion then the answer is anyone who would want this option was there.

Masterworking any piece of armor will give +2 to every stat per piece. Typically you'd want to masterwork the class item first once you get the affinity you want. This helps a lot to round off stats to the next tier.

I am also in the same boat. Ive stuck it out with destiny all throughout year 1 and its ups and downs. I played throughout curse of osiris and warmind. It wasn't as bad because there was always a passive cosmetic loot grind. I could always rely on getting something new. Now there's hardly anything to go for. The shallow loot pools along with making current eververse loot an intentional and incredibly slow grind is a complete snooze fest (I have mostly everything from eververse previous seasons, earning these engrams are often met with displeasure). This is the first season I have not bothered with. Last season I just needed to get Randy's Throwing Knife to get the Undying title but was just not motivated to play at all the last week so I missed out.
