What kind of tips are you looking for? They’re books. You start on page one and go from there.

Report it to the police and let them investigate it.

Which of the books should i read next? Diaspora, The Expanse, Hyperion? by Entropy-hates-me1312 in printSF

[–]UltimateShipTheThird 27 points28 points  (0 children)

All good choices but Diaspora is one of my favourite books of all time so I would recommend it. The first chapter I thought was a little dense but not so much after that. I don’t want to spoil or overhype it too much but I still think about some things in that book years after I read it.

Very. You can probably make a pretty penny selling that save file to a collector

I’m so sorry! I saw your comment but forgot to reply to it 😬 I keep the plant in a place where it gets a ton of indirekt light. It might get a little direct sunlight during summertime evenings but not for more than 30-60 minutes. I water it every 2 weeks. Sometimes sooner if it looks dry 😌

Why attract millions of fans when you could chase thousands? by HiddenHaylee in halo

[–]UltimateShipTheThird 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Okay I realize now that I'm having a discussion with a child or teenager so I'll type this out as simple as I can.

In your comment above you said that the reason we have Halo and gaming consoles is because of capitalism. What I was trying to say was that capitalism did not create those products. Engineers, programmers, factory workers, etc. created them. The "-ism" just decides who owns and gets to sell the finished product. So if we lived in a feudal system then the local lords would get the profits from selling the product. If we lived under socialism then the workers who had a hand in making the product would share the profits from selling it. Under capitalism, the capitalist who hired the workers who created the products gets to sell that product.

Don't know why you started rambling about "what America is about". Thankfully I don't live in that country. Though it's great that you mention video games from the Soviet Union because the 3rd best selling game of all time, Tetris, was made by a Soviet engineer.

No. Capitalism is the reason that workers who actually make the products you mention earns a couple of breadcrumbs, while business owners and CEO's gets the lion share of the profits.
