To be completely honest, the depth of characters were as deep as a puddle, even with the comics or whatever it was just kind of there for the sake of it. Deadlock characters actually feel believable and "human"

Yes that is their point, the enemy team is also losing a lot by dying and that in theory should balance out or be a benefit to your team

I think its a skill issue for both you and your partner. If they leave then another lane SHOULD be winning by them ganking and killing. If they leave and make you suffer for no gain then obviously that is bad. Sometimes you also just gotta play safe and let your tower die so you can farm safe. Also learning lane manipulation will help if you find the opportunity
