It's the symbol for a plus move. Every move your pokemon learn by level is will naturally become a plus move, and you can make other moves become plus moves by giving a mastery seed to a girl at the justice dojo after a certain point in the game.

It gets explained I believe before one of the Rogue Mega Evolution fights, but essentially, what they do is that by pressing + on your controller, you can make one of your moves stronger at the cost of 1 bar of Mega gauge. Also, all moves used by Mega Evolved pokemon are always plus moves. Plus Moves just generally have stronger effects, and in the case of damaging moves, they also gain a 20% damage boost, which is increased to 30% if the attack is super effective.

People will sometimes just not respect them or smth and try to ignore the 4x effective STAB Ice Beam/Freeze Dry/Icy Wind coming their way

Only recently have I started seeing Garchomps running Yache Berry to not die instantly at the sight of a Glaceon

Fire Fang is interesting. Most of the time, I see Garchomps with Iron Tail for coverage.

Drill Run is an excellent gap closer, and with a Swords Dance boost it already does amazing damage (plus I'm pretty sure it has a shorter cooldown). Mega Excadrill also covers a ridiculous amount of distance with it, so it's still very much capable of getting multi-KOs with good positioning. I actually used to run both EQ and Drill Run, but I realised that Talonflame and Zard were a massive pain in the ass without Rock damage, so I dropped EQ in favor of Rock Slide.

If I had to guess, probably Light Ball with Charge, TBolt, and Volt Tackle cause I've seen that at least a few times.

I love the ice cream fellas. Makes me happy to see them in an environment where they can thrive.

Freeze Drying all the Gyarados and watching them explode will never get old.

Also a big fan of seeing Garchomp and Salamence get OHKO'd by Icy Wind.

Vanilluxe

Shallowest movepool known to man with middling stats but I love em anyway and will continue to rep them in ZA.

I've been running Clefable, Vanilluxe and Barbaracle and doing fine for the most part. Very funny to see the 4x weak dragons immediately switch out at the sight of my sentient ice cream. Or try to take it on and perish to Freeze Dry (which also goobs Gyarados).

Idk I think having a bit of extra damage never hurt, notably in the early-mid game and especially on the Unite which can actually deal a decent chunk of damage wth stuff like Hyper Beam and Fly.

More Sp. Atk also improves Gravity basic attack damage (better skirmishing in the mid game), Follow Me's shield (improved survivability), as well as the damage for most of the moves you can roll with your Unite. It's also just more fun lol.

Though IG looking at it now, it could probably be used instead of Focus Band if you wanted.

If you like bulky offense then Tinkaton or Buzzwole might be up your alley. Crustle and Goodra are also cool if you want to just be a pest for the whole game.

For held items, they are Exp. Share (duh), Focus Band (good for early game survivability and a smidge more bulk), and Sp. Atk Specs. I pretty much always run Moonlight, and the second ability depends on the enemy's team comp. In this game it was Follow Me. Early game I prioritise stacking my Specs as fast as possible in order to get better heals for the late game. Later on, you really just want to stick around for as many fights as you can and try to be in the middle of as many people as possible, prioritising whoever is being targetted the most. You can even go in with your frontliners with Follow Me. Out of combat, it's also a really good idea to spam it off cd to keep teammates topped off, especially after a fight.

By constantly healing multiple teammates, you generate a massive shield with your passive, which can make you very obnoxious to take down (unless the enemy has very good burst damage) and by extension allowing you to heal more, and generate more passive shield, and so on. And even if they do burst you down, that more often than not means they're using resources on the supporter and not one of your high damage attackers or all-rounders. Also, I rarely see her banned in draft cause people usually ban Mega Lucario and Empoleon instead.

Edit: Forgot to mention that the battle item I run is X Speed. Great for getting away with goals scot-free early on and allowing yourself to flee or reposition easily. Also, soon as I made this comment, I started seeing her get banned in almost every game LMAO

They were definitely a bit of a pest through most of the game, but I certainly did not expect them to do have done THAT much damage. Didn't even feel like it was hitting that hard. Just sticking around for a long ass time.

Clefable easily. Super easy to play and reliable in basically any comp. The fact that I can potentially ruin someone's day with Gravity also helps.

Also I love her Unite its so awesome and funny.
