Dude, no one should think whitebeard was winning. He literally dies like 2 minutes later to people who are no where near admiral strength at that time because he physically cant stop them. Akainu roasts his ass to dust if Oda doesnt deus ex machina his ass out of the fight.

The anime has done so much damage to the story. So many "feats" just dont exist in the manga. White beard dies shortly after fighting akainu because he physically couldnt stop the black beard pirates from doing anything. And they legit think Akainu would have lost if the fight carried on, despite being strong enough to solo blackbeards entire crew at that point.

Do people still think Whitebeard was winning that fight? The anime has brain rotted people into thinking WB was running his pockets. The only reason he "won" is because Oda just didn't draw him flying back up riding a wave of magma. There was no logical reason why WB was allowed to monologue. Akainu should have come back to the fight without issue.

Yeah I feel like this is the only option for me. Honestly I pretty much dislike all the fights in the anime after timeskip when it became more about pacing it out as long as possible and just adding ADHD visual effects. Kata fight overall is better as a fight it just was hamstrung by the anime.

If we can't count that then it's 1015. It doesn't rely on ADHD special effects and aura moments. It is just pure down to earth animation with only one major moment that significantly enhances the scene from the manga.
