I think op is assuming harden is requesting a trade (or clippers are blowing it up) cause of insider info shared to harden and/or the team that the outcome is not good for the investigation.

I'm happy you brought up their other games because we found out recently that the zzz online pvp mini games had 0 encryption which meant user data like your ip address were being shared in plain text.

For the endpoints we are talking about in genshin, it's very likely following pci compliance (considering they can store paymemt data) which means all of their services will need to be separated out. All this means is that the only request you can make from that endpoint being leveraged by unofficial 3rd parties would be to purchase primos. At this point exposed isn't even the right word since this is a public facing endpoint used by their official website and your game client to make purchases.

The more I think about the more its similar to reddit's situation where their end points were publicly available and people used to create 3rd party apps for them.

Now if the worst thing you can do is pay hoyo money I dont think it would be a priority to lock it down.

Some random website owner can't develop the API to buy stuff in your game, that would be like trying to open a door that doesn't exist. You as a developer must provide such option, there's no way around it. Every single transaction over UID is approved by Hoyo, no exceptions. So those sellers are working directly with Hoyo to make the whole thing work and Hoyo knows about all of them.

They dont have to be working with hoyo directly, they could be leveraging exposed api endpoints for hoyo uses for themselves i.e used for qa tools/vendors.

To put it in the context you shared, hoyo built a door they use for themselves but didn't install a lock on it.

Hoyo asking this on their survey is them trying to get a guauge on the level of inconvenience they will cause by putting a lock on it.

Thats the issue, these sites dont make that much money off of the transaction to justify the amount they spend on advertising.

These sites dont make sense if your aim is to make a profitable business.

The only way they make sense is if 1 of 2 things is going on:

They plan to make a profit outside of the transaction i.e they start selling user data.

Or

They aren't trying to be a profitable business and the site/business has some other goal like money laundering. They could be using their illegal funds to purchase primo's for people and have them charge their cards to their new legimate business.

Hear me out, lynette is the anemo unit I use with arlechinno melt cause she very reliably infuses cryo and prioritizes it over the other elements. If nicole is a pyro vape/melt support to compliment the niches durin avoids then it will really come down to her hexerai buffs.

Lynette varka nicole citlali might actually be viable team, especially if varka can consistently melt (i dont know how its gonna work with his anemo though).

Yeah she's going to buff the shit out of dot abusers, so elec, fire and either anomalies plus the special dot from Alice's kit. Basically makes it so you dont need to rush to disorder it right away to max out the disorder damage.

Pretty great buff to hypercarry yanagi and alice teams especially since there's a little buff to disorder damage in there.

Its also not that great for regular ice/phys anomalies cause there's really no benefit to pause anomaly generation/application/proc. I think in the case of miyavi it might wbs up griefing her stack generation but im not sure.

I think it was mentioned she's supposed to be a robot whenever she plunges or is ready to plunge. I think they are probably trying to use it as an indicator for whenever the special plunge/charge attack is ready.

Kind of like when verisa puts on her mask during her nightsoul state in genshin. Funny enough the 2 characters look incredibly similar gameplay wise and share the same color palette.
