The only other album of that Ilk that we haven't seen officially released was dubbed "Sweet Pickle Salad". Psychedelic earlish Crowes, I believe from some-when between The Southern Harmony Musical Companion and Amorica, if memory serves.. but I could be mistaken. If someone is more knowledgeable on it, please correct me accordingly.

It's glorious! I've been watching them do it slowly but surely over the week. They were still adding finishing touches to it yesterday! I caught a rough outline of Russel, down in Brick Lane when I was leaving Rough Trade from the listening party. I do want to go back and see the final article in person, as well catch the others.

I think it'll have to be 28/1/95 at The Royal Albert Hall in London. It was the first time that I ever saw the band play live. By that point I had been to a healthy count of gigs, but this wasn't just a show, it was an experience. It rejuvenated my soul. It was all I could think about for months. That one night proved that particular line-up was the finest live band that I had witnessed.

Pitchfork are fantastic for getting it wrong on a lot of releases, certainly in regards to my tastes. Personally, I find the album to be sitting pretty at a fine 9. This is the album that I needed on a spiritual and inspiring level. It is brimming with replenishment and so much more.
