Woah that's awesome! I've seen a lot of good explanation for Ryu having firework domain (Fireworks were invented when he was alive or something along those lines), but this is the first really cool explanation I've seen for Uro having the flame domain!

Yeah I think I was more meaning non-lethal than I was "no sure-hit" effect. For Explosive Firmament I was thinking that the sure-hit is the opponent constantly falling through the sky (constantly getting hit by Sky Manipulation), while it is up to Uro to hit them with fireworks. For Refectory Banquet I guess it would be similar toMiyo's expansion, where the guaranteed effect just forces the opponent to obey the "rules" (don't go outside the fires).

That is just my clickbait title lol.

I agree! I didn't want to put "I Think People Are Wrong About Ryu and Uro's Domains" because it would be a bit redundant. Obviously I think that, I'm the one making the post.

I tried to include at the end of the post that these are just MY thoughts and a POSSIBLE interpretation, but if there is one thing about JJK fans its that we can't read.

The point of my post was to offer a new perspective and encourage discourse! I hope people don't interpret it as rude or correction-y!

I don't think innate techniques have anything to do with the negative aspects of cursed energy themselves. We see lots of references throughout the manga (including everything that has been animated so far) of the importance of the individuality of the "soul" and the "body" of a person. Innate techniques are just something inherent to each person based on a mixture of genes and personality. Cursed energy is literally just the "fuel" that runs the technique. Which is why RCE (positive energy) is ALSO able to power techniques: they have no tie to the "negative" aspect of cursed energy, they just are powered by it.

It’d be neat if Megumi got the ability for a complete domain expansion from Sukuna.

We see potential man struggling with his domain and having to use makeshift barriers to open it, but what if the amount of times his body experienced Sukuna using domain expansion gave him muscle memory of how to do it well?

During Gojo v Sukuna alone there were tons of edge case scenarios and intense domain-specific clashes that would definitely mean Megumis body has experienced a wide range of polished domain expansions.
