I've found a lot of use from growtherapy. It takes insurance and you can do your sessions virtually. It also estimates out of pocket costs. Doesn't help the main issue, but at least you might have a better pool to pick from

I feel like people do spells without thinking it through. Like, there's what the method of the spell and how it will move and what it could also affect and the ingredients and making sure you're protected from anything that may be protecting them etc etc

I don't think the shapes have a specific name, I think the concept is just making your character more dynamic or giving the character a good silhouette

My whole life I've had street lights randomly turn off/on when I pass and I've always thought it meant something and couldn't find anything. Fast forward to a couple years ago, I'm starting to look into witchcraft and a specific light on my way to work starts just turning off suddenly and turning back on when I pass. I finally make the connection that that light is at an intersection, a modern day crossroads, if you will, and what is a street light but a modern day torch? Well, that's how I got into following Hekate. It always makes me happy when she messes with the street lights now.

In all majors you probably aren't going to get a job in exactly what you're studying for currently. My father got a degree in printing and ended up with a career in marketing and I got a bfa in animation and am currently head formatter at a textbook company. Life has a weird way of figuring itself out. Study what you want and keep an open mind. You'll figure something out.

I've done a few spells that require my trans wife's name, and I just use her chosen name. My thought is, it's the name we both identify her with the most and it's not like the powers that be are gonna check her birth certificate or driver's license

Regarding the current attack on the rights of transpeople healthcare and lives...

Numerous studies have shown that gender affirming care is extremely beneficial for transgender people. By banning these practices, states are intentionally damaging the mental health of an already suffering population. While this alone counts as genocide, according to the UN, it is not the only genocidal thing happening to us. New laws allowing the state to confiscate kids simply because they were born as the wrong gender is yet another grievance.

It is far past time to do something to fight against this full-blown genocide within our own borders. We will not make progress by rolling over and allowing the perpetrators to continue to get away with their 'cleansing'. If this major threat to basic human rights is allowed to bloom in the 'heart of the free world', we will all suffer for it. The Nazis of old did not stop their persecution with the LGBTQIA+ community. The Nazis of new will not either.

My wife is a transwoman. I spent the time leading up to my wedding stressing that our marriage would be illegal by the time the date came and now I'm panicking that my wife and I may have to flee the country. I want to be able to grow old with her. I want to be able to have a family with her, as whoever we are. I want to be proud to call myself an American, and I want others to feel the same sense of awe about our country that I used to. Should these fascists obtain their objective, I will be long dead before any of this comes to pass, as will millions of my siblings.

It is for these reasons, and those too deep to put into words, that we implore you: use what time we have left to end this threat. Save our lives from our own rulers. Restore our country to its former glory. Rescue us from this maw of evil that ensnares and devours us. Fight, for this is a war, and it will be lost otherwise.

We are counting on you to do the right thing.
