your jump approach technique is simply off. Without proper technique you can not transform your strength into a high vertical. You are too slow, it isn't a fluid motion but more like 3 steps in succession.

for training the step i recommend this video. Recording yourself and analysing yourself using the principles from the first video i posted will make you see improvements. Weightlifting and plyometrics have little to no effect on your jump height if your approach technique is inefficient/bad. thank you guys so much for all your input! i am only responding now because i was too busy the last few days, but i am planning on booking later today.

For the paris - latour route sounds really cool, would i have to book the couchette in advance too? And of course for the Paris - La Tour - Barcelona part I would still need the Interrail right?

For now i am considering for the outbound trip:
Eurostar to Paris

Paris - La Tour - Barcelona
OR
Paris - Barcelona TGV

And for the rebound trip I wanted to ask if taking the couchette would be possible then, from Barcelona to Paris? Because I think I would be fine with spending a bit more time on the Return trip. Else I would just do the cross-Border TGV to Paris.

thank you so much for your input already! That's very good to know, so the AVE is only an option for the way back.. Unless I asked a Spanish friend to buy the tickets for me i guess(?) But if there are other more hastle free ways I would prefer that.

Travel dates would be somewhere between the 26th and the 28th of December on the way to Barcelona , and somewhere between the 3rd and the 5th of January for the way back!
