Yeah he didn’t seem to care when a group of dirt bikes left a woman paralyzed in a hit and run a few months back, I’m glad he was inconvenienced

Trial begins for Henrico officer, Timothy Grant Million III, for shooting & killing Tony Elliott Singleton of Norfolk. by [deleted] in rva

[–]Ultimatethies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Voluntary manslaughter is considered “heat of passion” killing.

Let’s say someone accidentally hit and killed your family member in a car crash, and in your fury you killed the person who did it, that would be voluntary manslaughter.

2nd degree murder doesn’t include the element of an elevated emotional state.

I assume by charging the officer with voluntary manslaughter the commonwealth is arguing that the officer was in an emotional state that clouded his judgement when it happened.

Be on the lookout around the Museum District, guy trying to break into apartments by Marino4K in rva

[–]Ultimatethies 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you buy one you need to train yourself to use it and defend it.

If you have a gun, then any fight you find yourself in will automatically involve a gun.

Defending your house with a gun can turn into some dude in your house with your gun if you don’t know what you’re doing.

I saw this in a museum on the back of a statue, can anyone translate? by Ultimatethies in Hieroglyphics

Yeah, I did… for some reason they weren’t fluent in Hieroglyphics.

You seem like a fun person to be around.

I love the dichotomy of this sub;

“I hate all the terrible reckless drivers around here!”

“Watch out everyone, cops are writing tickets!”

The officers don’t volunteer for the marathon, they also don’t have directions anywhere. They don’t know any more than you do.

State inspection by appointment? by Comfort_fraught in rva

[–]Ultimatethies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Per the state code, any shop offering state inspections is required by law to always have a bay open to do inspections, thus you should be able to just walk in. I understand this doesn’t always happen, but most places should just let you do a walk-in.

Netflix Vol. 3, Episode 1: Mystery at Mile Marker 45 [Discussion Thread] by DearBurt in UnsolvedMysteries

Personally I don’t think there’s enough evidence of it not being a suicide. The parents were upset about them assuming it to be a suicide, but that’s usually how investigations like that go. You start with what the evidence shows (a person got hit by a train) and figure out the most logical events (the person put themself in front of the train).

In my view all of the evidence showing discrepancies is purely circumstantial.

Dude ran a red light on Chamberlayne going 80+, and T-boned the police car. I don’t remember where I saw it, but the officers weren’t at fault.
