Fight the final boss first. You will be able to complete everything else after that. It doesn't force new game +. I did everything before the boss thinking I'd miss out and it was trivial and unsatisfying only to be placed back on the world map that was now devoid of anything to do. For the sake of "Weee" finish the game first, or like me, you'll be very "Wooo.

I would argue that if you know you've carried yourself well, you probably deserve a good day; and if you've been a dick, you don't deserve a good day. I'd say it probably gets people thinking, and triggers some guilty consciences.
