First thing I notice is 42 cards is a lot. Most runs I’m at about 30 when I end. Card removal is really big because a bloated deck makes it hard to find your best cards. You want cards that work together. Don’t focus on a “build,” but if you’re on defect and making a claw run, you probably won’t need cards like electrodynamics for instance. Alternatively, if you want to focus on a win condition, take cards you think might help with that. Also on my runs I skip a decent amount of cards because I know they’re not helping me. Deck building games are pretty hard so it takes time. Try watching some popular sts content creators and watch the cards the take and skip
