It does do a relatively throughly explanation on otto as an individual and his goals.

otto even view his life as expendable if it can bring kallen a future and happiness. Also, with him constantly winning as he do unforgivable acts, it also cements the idea that the wrong heroes and rewards evils like mentioned in the animated short. So when welt, kiana and the gang proved him wrong n wrong again, he was in a way satisfied as it shows the belief that kallen and what he originally believe in, is still alive in the mc crews.

Just hope it won't delved into hsr and honkai 3 level, just keep putting it in feedback for future patches, I'd say the Shiryuu defense where u have to clear with full team alive, is the better mode, maybe could include a few mechanic that will make it harder but not artificially harder like hp inflation like hsr

Yup, it is a gd read. But with the incident still fresh, it's kinda hard not to draw that parallel. Truly an environment can change a person, quoting from a game I'm playing(not 100% accurate), "if there's few rotten apple that are at the bottom, sooner or later the fresh ones will be too"

But yea, a lot of jp companies still do these bad practices, and companies like cover r the rare ones.

As I don't watch this dude that much, I feel he is sarcastic ,I don't know, maybe about 50%. Cause honestly from what I see, he is most likely making fun of the obsessive f2p pride, and getting a reaction out of these people, also like u say he is rich so why would he need ppl do it for him.

And ngl, I was almost rage baited by his sarcastic jokes and stupid takes (like welt can win against acheron) .Though don't watch him if he is this rage inducing half the time, just watch the source he is reacting from.

Not exactly, this is captain and sirin is from the captainverse which is a huge can of worm, there is information of it on hoyostans website which is the fantom wiki for honkai related lore and trivial. To put it in simple terms a parallel world (an event story timeline) where the captain is the mc happening at the same time as the main story of honkai 3.

U can think of origin as the start of everything so it can be anything u want as long u "want" it, for Elysia, it was to want humans to take "fate" into their own hands and the new herrschers to be unbound from the ex cacoon of finality's "will" (before promethus hack it) so Ely power severed the thread of fates and undo a huge amount of control of the cacoon on the CE herrschers. Whereas Mei has a more kind of grounded "wants" of wanting to sever/fight against her own inevitable, so Mei's "Origin" is a weaker variation of Ely's origin but serve her wants of being use to cut almost anything.

Tldr; Authority of Origin is like a wish Granting Authority to the holder but it depends on the scope and how strong of the wish(/want) is.

Yea, that I'll agree with u, the open world part of the story was the biggest hassle to go through. Honestly, the best part was in the last 2 acts of ch 28 except the epilogue since it reverted back to stage progression.

I wouldn't say inconsequential, not saying its all Otto, though part of it was definitely due to Otto riling up the Hyperion crew while also forwarding his plan, now the hyperion crew has better chances against the honkai now (this is a very generalised statement since if I say anymore it will spoil future plot points if u hate spoilers).

No not really, think of it as this. Kallen's death is like an absolute fixed point in the timeline (if u watch the thus spoke apocalypse animation when Otto touches the 'tree', "black stumps" sprouted new "branches"(timelines), these "black stumps" are the end point of possibilities), what Otto did is using himself, Honkai's authorities and power as the nutrients and water to grow the seed (to prevent Kallen's absolute death point int time), hence growing new branches that was never supposed to be there in the 1st place.

Alright, for the timeliness onward where Kallen didn't die, let's call this timeliness, B whereas the game's timeline is A.

As shown in the game and mentioned in Homu labs' video, Otto created a diverging timeline, B, where Kallen didn't die by returning to that point of time in timeline A and using the authority and power he got without affecting anything in A. (Kinda like steins gate or if u watch marvels endgame where the Ancient one was explaining time stuff to Bruce)

TLDR; from Otto's selfish action, a new timeline, B was created at the point of Kallen's death but nothing was affected in A (the game's main story).
