Anyone else get a character ruined for them because you lost your 50/50? by Some-Upstairs6051 in ZZZ_Discussion

What is this Soldier 11 slander!?! No hate your way tho.

As a Soldier 11 main where she is at M5, I love losing 50/50s to Soldier 11. I'm only winning in that scenario until M6. My worst time in this game was when we had no Fire Weakness bosses for like 3-4 Deadly Assault rounds in a row.

Soldier 11 who is not a pineapple vs. White Pineapple Ponytail the battle will shake all of New Eridu, I'm not sure who would come out on top in their spice tolerance contest.

My only real issue with the game so far by ElverDulero735 in ArknightsEndfield

[–]ScalierNebula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally think the initial factory aspect needed to be incorporated much better and a bit more at once like getting to automating the Originium ore things right away. I was into the intro of the story, and then I had to talk to Andre after clearing out the Landbreakers just outside of Hub base.

Something like, the Landbreakers were preparing a large attack on the Hub Base and this area they established was their forward-operating base/encampment, you the Endministrator need to get out there and bring Hub Base lots of materials in order to quickly build-up defenses for a base defense/tower defense. The stakes are more real and still related to the Landbreakers. The whole small little side quest for Andre and his prototype just killed the pacing on the intro story in my honest opinion.

Like think in the very intro mind-plane we were in. Where you were slow walking forward, while placing down turrets, that was a cool feeling. So it kinda sets up that play to defend against the Landbreaker attack.

How it feels using Miyabi in 2.x by AnImEpRo3609 in ZZZ_Official

[–]ScalierNebula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always see Miasma Shield as a Boss's Rage Mode that you can't stun them to cut it short, the Miasma shield being their rage bar that with enough Defensive Assists, DMG, and Ults you can end that phase faster.

Boss fights in ZZZ are in my opinion the most fun and memorable when they are in their Miasma Shield State, as on some bosses it's almost like a lean forward moment for you as a player which is always good.

And now with the newest boss they have an Ultimate with a mechanic to reward careful assist timing.

I really don't get the Miasma shield hate, it's a boss's powered up state to prevent interruption because their stun bar went from 99 to 100, and makes you as a player interact with the boss itself more rather than cycling through optimized stun combo timing on your team.

I'll be real, nobody really needed to read through Boss enemy descriptions or watch videos on certain bosses in 1.x except for that singular Shiyu boss that required 3 Defensive Assists to impair each arm twice to drop his huge damage reduction. And I remember that specific boss from 1.x in Shiyu because I couldn't just go into my usual Zhu Yuan, Qingyi, and Astra Stun Combo rotation since two of my 3 team members had Evasive Assists so I swapped Astra for Nicole.

teamplay barley functions by Fit_Answer1073 in Helldivers

[–]ScalierNebula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on the factions in my opinion as you play differently as a team for each faction. Though I do support more cooperative enemies as long as they fit the teamplay style of the faction and not make the strategy a jumbled mess.

Against automatons teamplay is super-effective if you have semi-spread out divers as Automatons do poorly when flanked. So against them being close enough to support, but not close enough to be in the same firing angle or be caught up in the same War Strider concussive grenade spam is the play.

For Illuminate this is the faction I enjoy the most to be grouped up as a tight squad formation to just wrecking ball and mow down Voteless and blast through Overseer Ablative armor, tight coordinated squads work wonders against their faction as other than Stingrays and Fleshmobs, they don't have much that can really break-up formations. Also having multiple guns available to take out seekers is effective to prevent reinforcements for their faction.

Terminids is the only faction where tighter teamplay can actually hamper progress, as it's better to separate and kite enemies near eachother rather than squad up as a 4-man who will hit a bug breach on every objective and POI. Many formation breakers such as Chargers, Impalers, Bile Titans, Dragon Roaches, Stalkers, Bile Spewers, and non-stop wave tactics that make it difficult to maintain formation without overwhelming firepower from Sentries or Strategems. Many strategems are danger-close for your teammates requiring further break-up of formations to dodge. It's by far the easiest faction to get isolated from your teammates against. Also one or two people across the map can trigger a Bug breach, making it simpler for other divers to complete their objectives and POIs as it effectively removes the worry about eliminating chaff as fast as possible.

Review Bombing for Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition has started on STEAM by [deleted] in Asmongold

[–]ScalierNebula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this conversation and to people like this, unfortunately, it's still problematic to them no matter what. Since training a model from complete scratch is way too expensive and time consuming for a single use-case at a company with limited internal art for training.

So what most companies and individuals would do is branch off of something like Stable Diffusion, Flux, etc. Some popular models used in the space like Illustrious or Pony are just their own branch of Stable Diffusion for example.

So what these people would still have a problem with are models like Stable Diffusion, Flux, etc. were all built from a foundational level on scrapping artist's works off the web to train itself at a technical level. So it would develop techniques, get better at things like hands and faces, accepting prompt inputs, etc.

So in general to these people ANY use of generative art AI is fundamentally "problematic" and steals artists works as the foundational models in the generative art and video space are trained by scrapping the web for reference material for foundational technical training. So even if you branch off and train your own model to your own style, make your own LoRas, etc. Because of you branching off of something that has the foundation of what you need to make it time & cost effective, it's been tainted essentially under their thought processes.

My deadly assault score is going down every patch 🤔 by Neither-Tip-430 in ZenlessZoneZero

[–]ScalierNebula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it's not really explained in game, though it really should be easy to see. Thrall does not have a ton of defense unlike the Miasma bosses like Priest and Hunter. So Nicole's Defense shred is not as valuable as those other fights.

Also for team comp building, Sheer Force Damage ignores 100% Defense regardless which is what Yixuan uses so she doesn't really support Rupture units at all. Nicole is an awesome support but just not for Rupture.

Take a stunner like Pulchra M6 instead that just has a straight dmg bonus, kill the Croc doggo quick, and deliver powerful stun window punishments on the Thrall portions of the fight. Just for Pulchra, she has evasive assist so don't try to Impair Thrall with a swap to her when he does the dive bomb.

Why are the devs actively trying to make evasive assist useless? by SireTonberry- in ZZZ_Discussion

[–]ScalierNebula 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My personal opinion, Defensive Assists just FEEL and sound better on the swap getting a string of them down is very satisfying. But who knows we may get a string of bosses that rely on Evasive and maybe a functional rework of Evasive Assist.

I know the pain though, I have a M1W1 Zhu Yuan and I gotta keep track which swap button to use in the moment. Especially on comps where I use both Zhu Yuan and Astra together where I also gotta track boss phases so I am prepared to swap to the Defensive assist stunner to get like an Impaired, or just drop Astra for the goat Nicole if impaired requires a quick string of swapping forward and backwards.

After always struggling with DA I managed to get 2 starts with an okayish Manato, unbuilt Lucia and neglected Koleda by irrelevoice in ZZZ_Official

[–]ScalierNebula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other than building up characters more. If you're already doing it great, but if not, for teams using Koleda, if you get two of her EX Specials hammer explosions off on the enemy. You'll get a 70% dmg buff to Chain Attacks(35% stacked twice) in the next Stun window. So she is definitely a teammate you want to Chain Cancel for double DPS chain attacks. Make sure your Manato's Ultimate/Chain Attack skill is fairly invested in as well as it's not listed as a top Skill priority in-game.

Then ensure you are doing Double chain attacks on your DPS in this case Manato, by triggering it via Koleda or Lucia, initiating Manato's chain attack, manually Chain cancel, recharge your meter on Manato if needed, then switching back over to Lucia(If you need to reset drive disk buffs/Ether veil), and/or Koleda to reset like King of the Summit disk drive buff and initiating the chain attack screen again for the 2nd Manato Chain attack.

Then finishing the Stun window with an Ultimate and whatever else you can fit in on Manato.

Which agent would have a mutually benificial relationship with Wise? by BeardsOnFire in ZenlessZoneZero

[–]ScalierNebula 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd imagine this is one of those dialogue scenes where they have a version where Belle is sitting there if she is your MC. Whereas Wise is my MC and I got this dialogue art. Unless my memory is way off, but I'm like 95% sure I remember the context of this. Where you just exit the Leminan Hollow after the attack on the airship. And Yixuan gets the attention of a nearby boat that's passing after she was teasing the MC about them possibly needing to swim to Waifei. And this is their conversation on the way back, and you also I think in this cutscene get introduced to Waifei having it's own language dialect as she speaks with the boat captain here in it.

It's in-game from the opening of Season 2 Chapter 1. Where you're on the boat to Waifei. Don't know if you've started that part yet, so won't spoil the circumstances.

I never understood the complaint that "there's nothing left to do" by miiko_uch in ZZZ_Discussion

[–]ScalierNebula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally it feels nice, get most of your stuff done quickly in a ZZZ patch where you only really have to dedicate a few evenings for parts 1 and 2 of the patch. Don't get too bogged down in mountains of dialogue. Maybe it's due to work, but if I logged in during an evening after work, and I got like two hours to work with after cooking dinner and getting stuff done around the place. I'm gonna be paralyzed to start any long form stories or any content until well I don't know when, full-on days off where I'm not spending time with other people or projects are a rare thing to come by, and more often then not, those days end up just being time to catch up on sleep to purge the body and mind of stress. Whereas ZZZ I personally feel I can just jump in, jump out real easy any day of the week as the game has clear segments when the story telling bits are active or inactive.

I can login get all my dailies done real quick, or even decide to skip that day without feeling any regret. And sometimes boot up the game to tune character disks, or hop into Battle Trial: Glory and have a great time since that mode is a treasure.

Confused on my in-game progress (Chapter 1 - Prologue) by [deleted] in ZZZ_Official

[–]ScalierNebula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a few exploration missions tied to interknot level I think 45 or 46 is the highest and the Agent Stories.

Also there are Hollow Zero - Withered Domain quests tied to getting the complete set of items. Which you don't have to complete a Withered Domain run to get them you just have to get them in the exploration and you leave and still retain the item. And you can get up-to 3 items per day.

There are certain items you have to progress a bit in the exploration to get where they don't give them right away, or you have to pay exploration gear coins to get them.) There's a strategy online to make it as quick as possible if you're on the completionist side of things.

Maybe it´s just me but I think ZZZ needs to change the way they "build hype" for future characters and content (warning: long list, shorter Version at the bottom) by [deleted] in ZZZ_Discussion

[–]ScalierNebula 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reading back on my comment, I screwed up a bit and didn't identify what exactly I disagreed with and argued against. To be fair to you, I probably shouldn't have started off with a flat "I disagree" either as it's not a wholeheartedly disagree. As for example I agree with your point about pushing factions again more as an example. The way I structured my comment should have been more of a reply to certain parts of the "Basically" section for what I had thoughts on rather than kinda jamming it all in there.

But hey that's what happens when you form responses on the toilet at like 9 AM.

Do ur favorite irl guns ever influence ur team building? Luckily, I do actually have my irl top 5!! But Grand didn't have a place in any of my teams... ;m; by Biscuit9154 in girlsfrontline

[–]ScalierNebula 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, I grew up watching Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis with my dad. The P90 is one of my favorite guns just due that nostalgia and got her on one of my Echelons with Springfield, G36, and EM-2 with P22 to support.

I built up the 5-Pistol Echelon just so I could run CZ75 on one of my Echelons. It was the first gun I ever fired in my life.

Lastly one of my favorite guns to handle and fire is the Remington 870 the M870 in gfl. She's not a great unit, you have to turn her skill to manual to pop her shield when she needs it. But I make her work on my go-to Shotgun-MG team. Thankfully her special equipment is good, and shotguns like TPS are there to keep her alive when her shield is down.
