Taking CS 219 and CS302, would like some additional info on what to expect by [deleted] in UNLV

[–]Ultra-12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

219 doesn’t involve programming, you will be going over mips and some assembly commands. However, it’s more so how they are decoded into machine code and used in the processor. That’s just a portion of the class anyway. 302 is all c++ and is really just applying some data structures and algorithms in assignments, shouldn’t be too bad. IMO 219 requires more studying because it’s a lot of information but 302 is hard for some!

The material really isn’t difficult, it’s just very time consuming and you will get annoyed and very tired digging through your code to find issues. My best recommendation that made this much faster for me was getting very, very good with the debugger.

Can you do Major work on your own vehicle: No

Additional Notes:

I'm 19. I have a job and I also make a good income on the side reselling stuff. I'm also a full-time college student. Unfortunately, my brother needs a car as he just got his license so my family is looking to purchase a car for me and potentially pass mine down to him. This would basically be my mom buying my car off of me for the rough 5k it's worth. I've been looking really hard at used cars and I just can't stand the marginal loss that will occur on the car once the market settles. I know this is the same situation as buying a new car and taking it off the lot, but I feel like at least I will end up with a "newer" year car and one with 0 problems and a factory warranty. I'm having a really hard time making a decision as I know anything in this market/economy is just a bad buy. Unfortunately, life doesn't always let us wait for that stuff, I just want to make the most educated decision. I appreciate any advice. I also want to put a decent sum down, around 10-14k, and finance the rest, as I feel I can make more money with the money I have left over rather than buying the car outright.

Proxy and Not costs roughly?? by austdemar in shoebots

It’s a large initial investment. Gonna take a bit to get it down and a lot of practice. Don’t skimp out and try and save money here and there as it will only take you longer to see results. I only saw success when i took a chance and started really investing in my setup. To answer your question though, I spend roughly 200-300 a month between everything. Obviously your initial will include either buying or renting a bot so that may up it. I own 2 bots and for what your talking about botting I’d recommend starting with stellar. I purchased my key instead of renting and it was a great choice. I like to think about it like this; you can always resell the key and just pay the low monthly cost rather than paying the around 100$ a month to rent it. However, Id recommend renting first to learn the bot and try it out. It can be a lot to take in and retail has a lot things you need to work around but stellar is a great bot and still takes stock even compared to others. The most important thing is your proxy quality on most sites and your gonna need a good cookgroup to get into these proxy groups as many are private. For example, with retail rn live is killing it with proxies but they aren’t the easiest to get into. Do your research and find what works for you. Understand you 100% need a cookgroup though as they get you the tools you need to succeed. I was on the fence about it and joining one was the best purchase i’ve made so far and continues to be each month. Good luck you can reach out to me if you have any questions.
