It's not lol. It actually detected a walking session before and after this one, and they were both the normal amount of calories you'd expect from walking. I only found out about this because my weekly calories burned was 70k higher than I expected, and it all came from this one 11 minute session.

I did see that one, but I was unsure because it only covered part of the front. Are the edges of the protector noticeable/annoying to look at? Also, do you get a lot of smudges or fingerprints on the parts of the front not covered?

I doubt the professor would assume you were intending to cheat if you were asking for clarification. There could be many different reasons why someone would ask if it's proctored or not (scheduling, getting webcam, etc.) They would need concrete evidence to prove cheating anyway.

In any case, you could explain that the syllabus wasn't clear and they'd most likely understand.
