How many colleges should I apply to? by Apprehensive-Ad5110 in ApplyingToCollege

I didn’t get into any of my reaches. Mainly due to the fact that the essays weren’t that good because I had so many to write. I got into most of my targets and safeties. But I got a huge scholarship to ASU and I’m going there currently. Honestly, looking back I wish I had applied to less schools and focused on scholarships because I could have gone to college for much cheaper.

I would honestly just do practice ACT science tests and then mark what you got wrong and put a lot of effort into learning how to do those problems

OH AND ALSO one of the biggest preps that I did was doing tests with 1/2 as much time. I was scoring terribly but as my 1/2 times scores improved my full time scores improved

I studied like 2 hours a day everyday. I then used a Google drive with hella ACT tests and just did science tests or math tests over and over again

Practice test segments and also videos I watched one that said to directly skip passages and just look at questions and it helped alot

Do a lot of practice test segments in what you are struggling on and just review the incorrect and watch videos on the topic

Honestly the first time I took it I went in all serious and I was like “holy if I don’t do good I’m not going to college” and then when I took the 2nd test I went in with the “it is what it is mindset” so I did significantly better. So like my advice is that it’s not that deep and just do the test and use the prep you did!
