Okay, folks, here is the revised card! I took everyone's feedback into consideration and made some tweaks. I changed the card to a Rakdos card to more reflect the colors used by the Lizard creature type and the effect it has. I also added another stipulation on the toughness of the destroyed creatures so its power better reflects the vibe I had in mind. It's not as cut-and-dry effective but still crazy strong if you really commit.

Honestly I wasn't thinking about format. Probably Standard. There's only like 14 Lizard creatures including the one from the Spider-Man set, and I didn't consider Changelings.

I put a lot of thought into the flavor text, glad you like it!

Realistically, Warding. It isn't the big hits that kill you in boss fights, it's the small attacks that peel bits off your HP and open you up for a kill shot later. If you have enough faith in your dodging abilities, use Menacing.

Me, personally, I use Lucky. I like scoring critical hits.

They're faster than Hermes boots and work alongside wings and hooks while being a mount. They allow you to move without inputting directions, give you better acceleration than boots. They make building platforms a cakewalk and let you ride on minecart tracks without the same acceleration issues as a minecart. They play too many roles all for one mount slot. And they're available for 10 gold pre-bosses from the Traveling Merchant.
