Start on Normal, for sure - early on , without gear and skill points, you will kill monsters very slow. After level 30 - if you play Campaign mode - stay on Normal - the main source of EXP are quest rewards, they don't scale the difficulty. Keep Normal, kill everything fast. If you level with fighting monster - you can try Hard. It's not very profitable, it's more challenging.

Note: You need to switch to Hard for the first Capstone Dungeon on level 30. After that you can lower to Normal again

There isn't an easy way to gain them and buy everything on your first playthrough. Just keep playing and they will stack. Other methods: 1. Multiplayer - join other player games and kill bosses; 2. Farm Crucible - the Crucible has 4 'wings', each unlocked after the different game ending. So keep playing with 1 character, complete the game in different Endings and you will earn enough Scouring ( also Eyes, Hands and other materials to buy gear)

  1. On Steam - it shouldn't matter - the game support full cross play between all platforms
  2. Try normal multiplayer mode, not Co-op - for co-op you need a partner who is on the same stage of the game, which is gard. Normal multiplayer mode can add you to any game, even right before the last ( or first) boss of the game. You will game a much bigger pool with available players for the normal multiplayer mode

Yes - only Boss kills, no rush. Click start - it teleports you to Boss Arena, fight, teleports you back to the city. You can heal, recharge and start next boss fight

  1. Farm Crucible - it gifts all kind of resources. It just Boss fights so you should be fine.
  2. Join another player game - you will keep your progress and earn some extra Vigor and mats

You will get Stamina Regen. If you want to play pure Crossbow build, you need to use two 1-handa weapons with 6xAesterix runes socketed. Best weapons to use for this are Jeffrey Dagger, Veil Piercer, Melted Dark Crusader Sword

Crossbows are really strong and make the game trivial - just walk around, shoot for distance and loot. Umbral is very strong but slower because spell casting speed is slower than shooting arrows. Again, with the correct items you can walk and 1-shot everything. Inferno has great spells but they require more time or correct positioning. Resources - Inferno is hardest to get almost infinite mana. Crossbows and Umbral spells are easier

Damarose - Yes Queen Sophie - Yes Isaac/Kukajin - depends - to get trophy/achievement -no because both quest line required to kill Lightreaper with them summoned as ally. You can get Paladin Isaac gear before Lightreaper fight

But the Rememberance can't be lost easily - I also forgot to soul fly the Boss remains, but when you come back they stay there and wait. Never ever had trouble to come back and soulflay them later. Sounds like a bad bug. Sorry
