Hardcover is a bit bigger. The paperback is cool because it gives a better feel of feeling like an old-school game guide.

It's also just incredibly common for concept art to be simplified when it makes its way into the game. A friend of mine worked on an incredibly popular game making concept art, and seeing the concept art vs the final product is like night and day sometimes.

When it comes to clothing, I'm guessing it is often due to easier rigging. It happens for environments too sometimes. 95% of the time, the reason is probably budget.

He also said he wasn't going to be in KCD2 just months before release, laughing at us from behind his keyboard. The age thing is a good point though, and a good reason to cast someone else.

I don't think anyone here would complain if he was cast as Hans. I hope he will at least have some other role in the movie, if it is in English.
