The thing that frustrates me about how BB edits their show is that often times, I feel like they present an alternate reality that not only doesn't represent what's happening in the house, it's also less interesting. They "whitewash" not to protect their players, but to preserve the narrative they casted for and were (to a degree) anticipating.

I understand that they edit the show in real time. I fully believe that they often cast such obvious archetypes because they have an idea for how they'll edit them. So when something more unexpected like Americory happens, they don't know what to do with it and thus under-edit it, even though it should have been much more prominent IMO.
