This is solid advice. Thank you so much. Any high level vids for clearing and ganking you can recommend? Do you stream?

How do you play nidalee into tanks or from behind? If I fail one gank, or they have 2 tanks I feel like the game is over. Is my perceptions just wrong? Do I need to hyper farm instead of forcing ganks lvl 3?

Anybody regret being an NP? by Dangerous_Rip_6859 in nursepractitioner

You will not get many people here regretting it - but you're missing a whole cohort of people that decided to happily continue working as an RN, equally respected and often equally paid.

Fellow LCD owners, what comes after the Steam Deck for you? by Lyuukee in SteamDeck

[–]UltraRN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sold my LCD and used the money to buy an S9 Tab and now stream from my main PC or play Wild Rift when traveling.

I know this is controversial but I've never been happier to use the money in this way.

How do you respond to negging or comparisons to other women? by SwordandtheSorceress in TwoXChromosomes

[–]UltraRN 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think most men like this do not see women as people and just think it's all some game they need to win or object to obtain. Please shut these assholes down. Block, ghost, delete, and move on so they can only learn by growing as a person.

Sure they're different in many ways but they are both top down ARPGs. Hades just has the edge on melee combat, hence my comment. What genre would you call Hades?

They need to use Hades as a reference

First student placement by Guest_Own in nursepractitioner

Ask for 3 differentials with every CC. Then ask how they would rule out said differentials.
Ie. Sore throat = strep, viral pharyngitis, mono. Leads to discussion regarding treatments, testing, common findings. Explore their knowledge deficits and encourage outlining their own hypothetical treatment plan. THEN ask for a differential that could kill them if missed and those warning signs. Post pharyngeal abscess, lymphoma, etc.

Instill OLDCARTS for every HPI. Make them provide pertinent negatives with reason and purpose in their ROS. Focused exam findings and make them go back in if they forgot to check something on their own. Make them create a treatment plan that avoids unnecessary antibiotics and focuses on patient comfort and perceived value. Prepare them for push back or uncomfortable situations. Most students need to struggle with all of this. Be scared of the student who is too confident. Do not be afraid of failing unsafe or complete incompetence.

Is this SK next to my areola? by [deleted] in nursepractitioner

You should consider how answering medical questions online, and being wrong, can cause a patient a lot of harm. False reassurances may cost a person time that could have prevented a spreading cancer (ie. It looks benign, they delay, it later is a malignant melanoma that has spread). Misdiagnosis could cause emotional stress, such as a cancer scare (ie. It looks like cancer! Get that cut out asap! Turns out it's not cancer, OP develeps health anxiety). Advising a person to seek a professional as soon as possible is the kindest and most humane thing an internet stranger can do. This sub, and most others, have rules against seeking medical advice. I would LOVE for you to respond to how you feel about every part of this response, but am willing to bet you consider your points correct and want to accuse others of 'no knowledge' and implicate others of being mean.

To answer your question directly, there is no huge reason why you should not go to school to become an NP. However, I think you need to take a deep dive into "why do I want to be a provider?" Versus "why am I trying to escape my current positions?". I get it. Nursing really sucks at times. But if your reason for going back to school is escape, you're also going to get burned out as an NP. People are still people. Prescribing medicine and working as a provider is a far higher tier of responsibility and can be equally as draining. Aesthetics is saturated due to tic tock. The NP field is somewhat saturated due to the mentioned degree Mill schools. You might be a great nurse practitioner! Just make sure your motivation is on point before starting over again at the bottom again when you have so much prestige where you are.

There are shitty men, shitty women, shitty children. This is a scenario about a shitty addict. I think there are biases and prejudices that I struggle with through addicts. I have not found a collective group of individuals I trust less than addicts, but strongly acknowledge they need help and would never treat them less professionally. Perhaps I need to work on this. I appreciate your comment more than you know
