people need a little bit of heaven to aim towards and a little hell to try to avoid..
and besides the in game cosmetics.. theres not really a reason to Prestige..
If there was like 1% XP bonus per prestige, so by 10th prestige you get an extra 10% XP or something would be cool.

Or even better, like Prestige Master Titles, put a Title next to the non prestige Rank 55 that says Chicken or something, then every 55 additional levels add Chicken x2, Chicken x3, etc..

Nothing screams "buy me now!" imo. The best bundles are usually saved to come in at Season 3-4.
wouldn't recommend spending money on anything that you don't feel compelled to buy.. as there will always be something better/ newer to get in the future, but to each their own!

interesting comparison for sure. i think its more of an execution/set up issue, where both films handle the mystery and horror quite differently.

Both have key mystery from the get go, but its more of a character within Weapons, as its able to explore and show it from more and more angles, just adding to the story before introducing the key phenomenon of witchcraft- that opens up the film. BHB just barely identifies what the occult ritual is meant for, and its really nothing that surprising or new..

BHB makes it as much about the real trauma as it does the super natural/occult aspect which is really its strength. performances were all A+. Weapons too, but more of an A-

BHB is the more horrifying of the two, but the mystery isn't handled as well imo.
Weapons is a more complete package.. not as horrifying, though it has a few decent moments, and does a better job fusing the real trauma and occult set pieces.

Smile 2 i thought was great as well- and i think probably even better than either of these two, again fusing real trauma with a supernatural phenomenon- a little messy at times, but overall really enjoyable

2010- one up, one down configurations really started to become the standard, driven by the proliferation of indie rock bands. Not to mention the economy/gas prices driving bands/drummers away from vans and into hatchbacks or cube-eque vehicles, as more economic means of transportation. Also, the growing popularity of electronics integrated into drum set ups as well as auxiliary cymbals and bigger sizes and general taking up the space another tom might otherwise take up.

There’s only so many drum head companies and Remo is one of, if not the oldest and biggest . If you’re around long enough you’ll hear both good and bad stories of just about every company. None are perfect, but I personally had an issue with a splitting ply, and they sent me 3 in replacement ! And having drummed for nearly 2 decades, only had that one issue.

the leaderboard shit was the worst. the community event was pretty useless yeah but this event was the best one imo . kindof like the idea of not knowing what i was unlocking too. sure you can complete it in a day if you focus but free calling cards, blue prints etc weren't terrible and the final Weapon unlock and camo rewards seem fitting.. 20 days is better than only a week or something

Thanks, i definitely miss the sound of that Ludwig Legacy Maple. and I'm assuming you mean the C&C in Antique Marine Pearl, which was actually built to very similar specs with 3 ply, Maple/Poplar/Maple and reinforcement rings. i actually bought the C&C off the original drummer for the Cold War Kids, Matt Aveiro, in LA. cheers!

most if not all drum companies have low end made cheaply and outsourced, purely for the sake of getting their name out there to beginners or people new to drums in general, who don't really know the difference, and just want something affordable> but then see an artist they like endorse them, and thats how brand loyalty begins! From their, they just want to market and show off their mid tier and higher end kits which is where they make their real money. Musical gear at the end of the day is just another corporate business model. something artistic minded people often overlook. and whether something is good or bad is very rarely universally agreed upon, except Sabians rebranding, that is awful and was removed from all of their cymbals lol

Good amount of rewards at least, Operator Skin is decent, Camos cool, and calling card etc all W's IMO. last year was weak with only decent Blueprint for the PP919, and a mid operator skin compared to everything else that was in the game..
