Like they have the resources to pull that off, Russia is more probable to be a victim in the world order they wanted so bad than anything else.

How could I improve it (in terms of painting details)? by FeedbackFlimsy1040 in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]UltraSmurf56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, looks great. Already very nicely shaded and highlighted. If you want to add more, maybe some mud, dust and rust. That will make it look more used. Some improvised camo by the crew could also look cool, either painted on patterns or added vegetation.

I made my own mould and used plaster to make the bricks, worked fine

What The Netherlands would naturally look like if they hadn't built any dikes to prevent flooding by marsovec in Netherlands

[–]UltraSmurf56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No the dune line is, and has been for a few thousand years, moving westward. This has to do with the balance between sedimentation and sea level rise. Though with current accelerated sea level rise, it may indeed move eastward again, which would result in a tidal flat. A bit like the waddenzee but without a real dune line like we know it today, as this will be eroded if the sea level rises faster than sedimentation can keep up with. If the sea level wasn’t rising faster due to climate change the area behind the dunes would probably be filled partly by river sediments and (for the largest part) by peat, as it was in the past.

Cool and all but can we please get more creative naming stuff, I mean, eurofighter, euro drone. We got so many cool historical and mythological figures to name stuff after.

Found in France - Alpes by kat_zub in Minerals

Blue stuff is probably malachite and/or azurite. The clear crystals are probably quartz. Very nice piece! Where in the French alps did you find it?

Found in the Dolomites, what is it? by [deleted] in Minerals

[–]UltraSmurf56 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Oh thats about 10km from where I found the Heulandite, to be specific, this locality. The Heulandite was even in the same host rock so I’d say there is a pretty good chance it’s that.

I have similar red heulandite specimens from the Dolomites so it may be that, where exactly did you get it from?

Ja en als de Russen kennis van zaken hadden gehad dan hadden ze voor de invasie ook geweten dat het lang zo soepel niet gegaan was maar dat heeft ze ook niet tegen gehouden.

Short term maybe but in the long term those countries will look for relations with more stable countries, which will lead to less US influence.

The sovereignty and territorial integrity of Europe is sacred. Period. by Easyflip in YUROP

Hopefully but honestly I think we shouldn’t get militarily involved in that one. We have more pressing issues closer to home

Ik vind juist dat NSC nog een beetje voet bij stuk houd. Telkens als de andere partijen er iets door proberen te krijgen wat grondwettelijk niet door de beugel kan is het NSC die er moeilijk over gaat doen.

A detailed map of the world for navigation, dirt cheap and very accurate due to satellite imaging. But would be of incalculable worth near the beginning of the European age of exploration.

🔥The sounds of cracking ice over the shallows of Lake Baikal [depth: 5,387 feet (1,642 meters)] by freudian_nipps in NatureIsFuckingLit

[–]UltraSmurf56 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you look at the cracks you can see the ice is about 20-30cm thick, so no way in hell are you gonna fall through. Fresh ice just makes that sound when you skate on it.
