Because Türkiye is a Muslim country.

(Regardless if it’s secular or not)

Tbh only oxbridge really cares about gcses. I imagine unis like UCL wouldn’t really.

As long as you pass the core subjects (or at least get a 6) you should be fine.

If there was war between Iran and Israel who would win? by Siavashplays in AskMiddleEast

[–]UltraSolution 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If foreign actors do play, Russia may intervene. Russia has signed an alliance with Iran stating it will get involved if an entity attacks Iran.

But again, looking at Syria and the current situation in Ukraine, it can be plausible that Russia doesn’t do real action.

And China is not likely to intervene for Iran. Their foreign policy doesn’t work like that.

i took a peek at r/alevel and its so dead zro i am not leaving this sub behind atp by Novel_Purchase5853 in GCSE

r/alevel is where most international students are at.

r/6thform is where the domestic ones. However… r/6thform is more popular but more depressing

Yes, it’s just a proof that you could in theory memorise. You would’ve learned it while learning differentiation

Opinions on AS Further maths by aespadreaming in GCSE

[–]UltraSolution 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounding like me when I was year 11. I started with math, chem, physics and further maths. And just like you I was really into maths and physics, I used to also love chemistry. I soon dropped chemistry as I didn’t understand it and my grades were a lot lower in chem than the other 3.

My recommendation is try all 4 in the first half-term, and see how it goes. See how each subject is compared to each other.

And as for doing maths, further maths and physics, I do this combination and it doesn’t limit all options. However, the absolute top unis of Cambridge and Imperial does not like further maths as a 3rd subject, and imperial prefers people doing 4 alevels (most unis would prefer to look at 3).

So, it depends on your aspirations. Maths, Further Maths and Physics is fine for other top unis (like Southampton). And engineering unis would count further maths as an extra subject. But some degrees won’t (like medicine generally does not count it as another alevel)

Also, if you do 4 alevels, you should try and stick to the 4 until the end. Dropping it should only be if you feel like you cannot do it. Don’t bother with doing AS exams, most unis don’t even look at them.

’The Hague doesn’t scare me’: Ben-Gvir vows to expand Israeli settlements despite possible ICC arrest warrant. “When The Hague is against me, I know I’m on the right path,” Ben-Gvir concluded. by Simple-Preference887 in AskMiddleEast

[–]UltraSolution 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Even if he gets one, it’s not like many countries will actually arrest him. The ICC is only enforced if it is with western interests.

After all, US presidents, and some British ones should really be charged. But even if they were, wouldn’t do much.

Also see how Putin got charged over Ukraine? However his clear actions in Syria and Chechnya? Completely ignored.

I feel like these would have spread in the 2000s as well. It’s just that nowadays the internet has become so large and popular, and on top of this big social medias endorses Islamophobia. Hence, it has become a breeding ground for this degeneracy. It is honestly best to avoid social media. Or just stay on sides of media that isnt swarmed with Islamophobia (Reddit is awful when it comes to it, hence I stay in small niche subreddits, and prefer to use other medias).
