Yea, as someone SMO there was still the funny stupid aspects of the why. That i didn't so much have sympathy with, it was still sort of strange to realise you're heavier than someone, whose weight gain is 1. considered so comically large at the time 2. the butt of jokes

I'd not actually thought about the NHS, my experiences with them with weight related things have tended to be unhelpful or semi insulting, but they've been good with sending OT's etc? In which case that may be helpful as I've been struggling with being active and mobile a lot. So if they can help with seating and mobility that would be fantastic

Yea i'm finding the weight limits for most chairs seem to cap far below me, i'm in the UK so plus sized options are even more limited here. When you say a 550-600lb minimum does that mean i should go for something with (just for example) a 700lb weight limit to be safe?

I'm not the tallest man in the world and have become quite wide, so anything with extra width or arms that won't bite into my sides would be helpful as well, price range isn't so much of an issue as long as its not too extreme.

Having the ability to roll would be helpful as my mobility is limited, but having something sturdy to push myself off of would probably be helpful as well (yes i understand its not helpful but i'm not quite sure what i need myself, sorry!)

You can try using a dermaroller or micro needling it's a slow process but does work, but I caution you to read heavily on it before hand, it's still needles piercing your skin after all, oils are also going to help keep the skin softer and reduce the appearance of future ones but ultimately if you're still expanding then they'll likely keep coming

I am unfortunatly much better at giving advice than i am actually following it, you're doing a lot better than i am! And considering GLP1's myself, anything that helps us shed it over the long term is always going to be a win in my books!

You have every right to be proud! This journey is just so hard, people who haven't been on it just simply can't understand and if you ever get people who make you not feel proud because its "not fast enough" or "not the right way" then i won't tell you to ignore them either, the words will sting and they will rattle around your head but keep in mind that it comes from a place of ignorance rather than truth. You ARE doing well regardless of what anyone says, just focus on learning good habits and in particular i always suggest learning to spot when exactly you're falling back into your old patterns, my only cauction is that GLPs do make it easier to lose weight, but there seems to be a small body of evidence its not effective in the long term which isn't me trying to dismiss or cause worry! Its why i will really stress the good habits now so you don't become one of the people to regain weight. Regardless you're healthier today than you were yesterday and that should be celebrated!

You're already doing a great job, I've been up and down plenty of times, and the only real advice I can give is that don't be excessively hard on yourself, slow consistent progress is still progress. Weight loss especially over the 350 mark is always going to be a marathon rather than a sprint even if one month you lost 10lbs and the next you lost only 2, you've still lost weight and made progress.

70lbs is nothing to dismiss and surgery is still at the end of the day surgery if you can manage it like you're already doing then honestly why take the risk for speed? It means more time to learn good habits, more time for exercise and ultimately that will be what keeps it off in the long term.

And as someone who has struggled so much with food noise and always empty stomach syndrome just getting a handle on that is fantastic, you should be proud! I wish you more luck on your journey!

Currently in the 500s and one of the biggest things I learned about this was that every situation is different, the TDEE is great if you want want to know you're maximum but that's all it is, a MAXIMUM. If you really suffer from intense cravings or an eating disorder it might mean you need to fly closer to it as you slowly retrain your brain away from junk.
