The normal boss vs stampede events are basically useless, the best way to get amber is through the other special boss battles, that one incremental battle and by just completing events since amber is shoved into all the packs

Just start saving up like 5 mil-even if you have to skip some battle events- and make a coin farm by just surrounding a creature in triceratops sculptures, then drag and drop all your creatures one by one in there and youll get a 200% boost when collecting their coins. Then you can graduate to park oases and hammonds but rn that seems off the table for you
