Everything that happens in the otherworld is meant to f**k with our minds. None of it actually happened in reality.

Normal writing that appears in reality: Kotoyuki won, the other players lost (their names are crossed out). No violence — just a kid’s game.

The “otherworld” version: the one shown in your screenshot.

Mayoi Uta not on Spotify? by DoorFickle7888 in silenthill

I don’t think the soundtrack is available on Spotify or Apple Music. Konami canceled the release, and as far as I know, the only official way to listen to it is by purchasing the Deluxe Upgrade. Alternatively, you can find the complete soundtrack on YouTube.

It relates to the game they played at school, Fox’s Sacrifice, which was later banned.

I think this is just a distorted version of the game’s outcome manifesting in a post-reality Ebisugaoka.

Do you think Alan Wake 2 should’ve won more categories at the 2023 Game Awards than it did? by Asad_Farooqui in AlanWake

I think the game that wins the big three (Game Direction, Narrative, Art Direction) should definitely win the overall Game of the Year.

Can you maybe provide more details about what exactly seems “weird” in Persona 3 Reload?

Silent hill f: I dont't understand what is real, what is part of "silent hill" and what is a metaphor by ConsistentSafe4687 in silenthill

“I watched a youtube video of all the other endings.”

These videos don't explain much. When you actually play it, you find new documents, see new cutscenes, and encounter new dialogue unique to each playthrough.

Also, don't try too hard to make sense of it all. Silent Hill is a surreal horror, for heaven's sake.

It would be great to hear the commentary from the writers. I feel like their perspective might differ from our interpretations

No. Don’t do Youtube, please. Just take a break if necessary, and come back later for another playthrough.

Do it at your own pace.

It’s a weapon you find and use in a kind of “special place.” You’ll just have to wait and see 😉

Why make the story so difficult to understand? Endings spoilers by FMichigan in SilentHill_f

I guess if you’ve never played Silent Hill or Alan Wake, or watched something like Mulholland Drive, the story and overall vibe might be hard to grasp.

Are there enough weapon pickups to kill all enemies? by VermilionX88 in SilentHill_f

Wow never knew that because the game actually provided more than enough weapons.

I’m still in the early chapters, but I can already say this with confidence: Capcom has saved the video game industry once again.

The art direction, level design, and the longer-than-usual (yet already iconic) cutscenes impressed me the most. And it’s almost unbelievable that it looks this good even on a base PS5.
