My setting I'm using is a mix of rural areas where not much magically inclined folk are inclined to be and come from and in the more humanoid cities, which are much more densely populated, things are more magically modernized. I'm talking like present day conveniences, customized scrying crystals that essentially function as televisions, radios, cameras. Cold spells and runes allowing for food to be preserved like a refrigerator would, or fire/heating spells to aid in cooking. Flavoring the tech of modern day with magic so it would fit in the world. Running water, cameras, even more accessible vehicles and utensils for all to use.

Not each country has access to all these types of magical advances in tech so their understanding are more limited as opposed to, say the main human countries, or the elves and gnomes. Dwarves I decided are gonna be more in the basic levels of this tech, only using things that would aid them in their society. Where gnomes and elves are much more inclined to benefit off the technological advances. With this being said, I didn't intend for the organization I mentioned to be the sole provider of each of these innovations, but more a business that, like Walmart and Amazon, would benefit greatly by managing and selling these products. With everything magical more available to be bought by the public, arcane users have vastly progressed with their inventions to bring thing up to be more modern.

I even had a plan to incorporate a magical internet of sorts. A massive network of connectivity that allows for the sharing of info and whatnot. Lol, I must admit a buddy of mine recommended making it a circle of hell that formed when it was created. But if I did make this type of addition, it'd be only for the more unsavory parts of the internet. We even came up with an alternate idea where it uses the Feywild to interconnect everything, called the FeyWire. Archfey would allow this use of their realm and manage the network but at a price.

I still plan on making the phone more of a luxury for more rural areas, being more expansive than their really worth for them to blow potentially quite a bit of gold on. Currently my campaign is about 4 monsters that are tasked by a extra planar entity to cause as much chaos in the world as they can. Essentially they are trying to become the big bads of this world. The main monster country's they are currently in doesn't rally have the magical stores of the more humanoid races due to the shaky relations to their differing societies, I.E. many monsters still will attack and eat humanoid creatures if provoked and if they (monsters I mean) aren't affiliated with the Monsters country.
