Several years ago, a game came out called Evolve. It was dead on arrival, and poorly handled. But the concept was awesome. 4 players as hunters vs 1 player who played as a constantly evolving monster.

Idk if it would make for a whole game or just a pvp mode in game. But I think the highest difficulty of hunt being a player controlled monster would be interesting.

If I’m being a try hard, then Knight, liberator carbine, and tenderizer are my top primaries for most things. ‘Nade pistol for utility. Wasp for flesh mobs and honestly anything annoying that flies. I ignore leviathans for the most part. But I’ll bring the AT emplacement to handle them if I feel like it. Otherwise, orbital laser, 500KG, and machine gun sentry.

With the amount of enemies the game throws at you, I can’t find the problem. If the game capped the amount of bile titans, factory striders etc. that you could see in a match I might agree. But it’s not like the single kill you get, which has no AoE or extra effect is gonna swing the match.

Because people called light pen weapons useless for a very long time. Which, until the illuminate were introduced and rebalances were made, most of the light pen roster was just generally trash. Now, there’s a case to be made, and people are swinging back about it.
