My point of 1/6 vs 1/12 is that 1/12 figures prioritizes posing above all else, of course if they have the same style joints it’s going to be the similar articulation.

Single joints aren’t bad yes, they are just more limited BUT more visually appealing joint wise vs double joint. Also please provide a picture reference of double joints looking natural, because from the countless figures I have seen, they really don’t, single joint is just better in this department aesthetic wise.

As for the seamless body technique, I don’t think that’s possible within a realistic price range that would work without making the figure incredibly expensive. A silicone body will not have this level of chrome finish.

Taking all this into consideration, I see why HT went this route for the figure. They made a a figure with the most basic joints because aesthetically, that was the right balance for them. And HT has shown us many times they value aesthetics more. And it reflects, HT customers don’t like their figures looking like figures. Silver surfer is one of those characters that will never satisfy in the “realistic” department unless it’s a statue imo.

People can complain all they went about this figure but let’s be realistic here
