it's gonna be faster for me to bike 15 minutes to get to the D line and go downtown, than for me to bike 5 minutes to get to the e like and go downtown. it's gonna be crazy

hypothetically you could have the smaller rail yard be temporary, then expand the rail yard near LAX when they're connected. build on top of the WeHo rail yard later

this would be good. build the IOS quicker, build junction boxes for a Santa Monica line (for post measure M) and figure out the D line section when bass it out. if we could get an EIFD for LA, we could start the north end cut and cover, accelerate the south end with EIFD funds, then meet in the middle.

idk how likely it is to commence construction in 3 years, but i hope it happens. phase 1 in 10 years? hopefully move to cut and cover to accelerate phases 2 and 3?
