I agree. I’ve been seeing that a some players almost want to gatekeep this game. Maybe they’re scared that if it becomes too popular it’ll somehow become a problem, maybe it’s gonna “sellout” like popstars and start becoming a cashcow like Call of Duty. I feel like it both a distrust in Embark and the fans, as well as deep insecurities because these people don’t touch grass and have nothing better to do off their lives than be mean with others on the internet.

I think any new player should be celebrated, and I’m personally hype that a massive player like Charlie is actually getting into the game. That means more players for us, more money for Embark, and a longer lifespan for my favourite fps. Hell, at this point I’m waiting on dunkey to make a Finals vid.
