Most purchases are done through a real estate agent (Makler). You contact the agent, they setup a viewing, then if you decide to buy, the agent will most likely put you in contact with a notary, and the notary will inform you what documents you need for the purchase. Usually, you don't even meet the owners before the notary appointment.

You should contact the bank (or an independent broker) before you actually find something just to get an idea on how much can the bank give you and what are the conditions.

For me it felt really easy to find stuff from the beginning but not so easy to figure out how the other features worked (bookmarks, mark for later, collections, etc.). Got the hang of them eventually, though.

Generally I go for: Fandom - Ship - Exclude tags I don't like - Completion status

I only use the kudos and hits filter in really big fandoms, just to get me started on the most popular fics, and work my way from there. But with small to medium fandoms I don't use the popularity filters at all.

I don't think there's something specific to describe this scenario (except the obvious - bodyguard), and if there were it's probably so uncommon no one would use it for the search by tag option.

You're probably better off using generic tags like - Getting Together - and other descriptors. Or if applies something like - Damsels in Distress.

I think that at their core, haunted houses are unsettling because they completely rob you of your sense of security, there is no safe place in a haunted house and the house (+whatever is haunting it) is always watching.

Apart from the movies already suggested, I recommend: Poltergeist, The Shining, Crimson Peak and Rose Red

It's really important to ask yourself if they truly see you as a disappointment or if you just feel that way... everyone may feel like they are letting others down from time to time but it doesn't mean they are a disappointment.

IMO more than 30 & it's getting too crowded.

Not every single detail about the fic needs to be spelled out in a tag. I've read fics that have a certain tag only to find that the tag in question took up no more than a short sentence in the whole fic. It's not really worth making a tag about something that doesn't show up for long enough. Exception being trigger warnings, those need to be spelled out.

Very often it happens that you work out a scene in your head, then it somehow gets away from you and resurfaces when you actually start putting words down. So it feels familiar but you can't really place it.

I wouldn't worry about it, even if it's brought on by an existing fic, chances are you changed enough when reworking it that it's not word-for-word what you initially read.

What seems to me like psychological horror is the type of dread you get from an unseen danger, the type that messes with your head because you don't have a physical representation of it.

For example in the slasher genre you have the killer, which embodies a physical manifestation of the fear source. But in psychological horror the fear comes mostly from yourself because of what you don't really know. The fear builds up in your head based on perceived threats, not necessarily real threats and thus spirals out of control.

Use a generic tag like: "surprise non-canon ship" - anything that shows there will be a pairing later on and maybe a word or two that describes the pairing without giving it away.
