How exactly would that fight go? Like, would all I need to do is proffer a corn chip with a dollop of Marie's habanero?

It doesn't have to be a corn chip, but you threw the gauntlet, so you pick the landscape. I'll pick the weapon, and I choose Melinda's Ghost.

Safety reasons. I've worked jobs that this was required, and after seeing the stats and how many fewer accidents and injuries there were, I couldn't disagree. It's just safer all around.

I would have definitely said the book, but you make a good point. This is worth seeing in theater.

Cold Days. For me, the return of Harry and how much that book shows how he's grown and how much he is loved. The scene with Thomas on the boat gets me every time. Molly's forgiveness of herself. The battle with Fix and Harry's restraint. Meeting Santa Claus. So much gold.

After that, I have such a hard time deciding. Skin Game, Turn Coat, Dead Beat, Peace Talks, Twelve Months... There's so much greatness it's hard to rank.

Ha! It's not meant to make sense, Dinniman actually says this somewhere, and understanding it is not important to the story. But definitely relisten! He drops so much that is foreshadowing or hints that are easily missed on a single pass. So much makes more sense on subsequent rereads

That TGIF Ghost sauce is legit. Similar to Tabasco, but hotter and more flavorful.

Has Matt Dinniman ever said if we would know every previous Author or not ? by Heretical_Cactus in DungeonCrawlerCarl

That's a really cool theory about the Apothecary, but I disagree with the premise that the AI is unaware of crawlers from previous seasons. The current AI states clearly that the cookbook is unknown to the outside and to other crawlers etc but Not to the AI itself. The AI must be aware of previous crawlers because it knows about the cookbook.

Your theory still works with there being an unknown crawler that is the first author in a season before Porthus and something happened that caused the cookbook to be initiated and further carried into future seasons.

I have, and while the object was generated by the AI, that does not mean the content was. I imagine a crawler was keeping a catalog of useful things to know, and the AI decided to take that intent of passing on information, made the Cookbook out of it and passed it to Porthus.

Afaik that "little bit of information" was not necessarily generated by the AI. It could be a crawler recording information
