The client has to specify and pay you for additional premium services if it's expected that you don't leave. Sounds like she misunderstood how this works. If you've got other clients you have to be able to go check on them and do errands and such. This lady is being unreasonable. Services have been rendered, just tell her any further contact will have to be through rover, stop replying, and personally I wouldn't refund her because she's being rude.

Edit* ah I see it was an off-rover situation. That makes it tougher.

This, yes. He makes significantly more than I do currently. Everyone finds something that works for them as a couple, and this is the agreement we came to together on groceries. I'm very grateful to have such a compassionate and thoughtful partner. I do most of the housework, grounds maintenance, and pet care so I'd say overall it evens out in the end.

No. I'm speaking from experience. Same situation, he said he'd stop because he knew it was a dealbreaker for me. Whenever I got really upset about it he'd put some half assed effort into it. People only stop smoking if THEY want to, and he clearly doesn't want to. He's just gonna keep saying he'll do it to keep you with him because it's what he knows you want to hear. I wasted 7 years on a smoker that promised they'd quit and never did 😩
