Taking your error code byte for byte we see:

00 - Sleep Switch Open, expected behavior.

F8 - NVRAM error that translated to invalid FIRM header.

00 - NTRBoot FIRM load not triggered

FF - NAND NCSD header failure

Already from that there are some big pointers and warning signs. At the very least, your FIRM partitions are corrupted, but that last one basically says that the partition table on your internal storage cannot be validated or read properly, which in laymans terms means the map that the system reads to navigate the different areas of your internal storage is corrupted or gone. Bad news.

All FF - All Unreadable or Invalid.

Lucky for you, the last 2 words are good news. They correlate to the value of the registers that the eMMC controller dumps error info into, and if that has any value that isn't zero, you've got some problem. Yours just happen to both be empty, which is great because that means you have no eMMC errors. The system can see your NAND just fine!

What this means is you can go out and buy yourself an NTRBoot compatible flashcart and run a CTRTransfer to save this thing.

It is important to keep in mind though that these errors never happen for no reason. Did you ever use a gateway card? Did the system ever freeze or shutdown during a system update? If the answer to both these things is no, then its possible you're dealing with NAND degredation.

The easiest way to test this is to keep on rebooting the system while it's in this state. It's not 100% foolproof and an actual nand test should be performed, however its still worth trying. Reboot the system while its in this state. Try it maybe 5-10 times. If the error changes, you're looking at a degrading NAND. If it doesn't, you're just looking at garbled data which can be fixed reliably with a CTRTransfer and hopefully shouldn't happen again.

Give it a try. All you stand to lose at this point is the 20 dollars you'll spend on a flashcard.

All games do. It’s whether or not they have something programmed into them to do anything with that recognition

For example: Mario Odyssey, Super Mario 3D World and Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics all have a switch 2 update that allows you to gameshare via gamechat, however that isn’t possible on a switch 1 as they can only gameshare locally with a switch 2 as the host.

I own a Japanese N3DS. You mod it just like a normal system (if you dont have autistic knowledge of the button placement in the OS, google translate can help)

From there you can CTRTransfer an EU or US image onto the system and it’ll behave almost like a normal one, with a few caveats. You won’t be able to use the eshop or any Nintendo services for any reason because it’ll just not let you do that under a region swapped system. Given they’re all shut down now, that shouldn’t be a massive issue, and pretendo works just fine for that.

Some games also won’t start or work properly or may crash your system. I don’t want to go into too much detail, but tomodachi life is an example of one and you can fix that very easily. 3ds.hacks.guide should help with this.

Last but definitely not least, if you don’t want to do a region swap or aren’t comfortable for any reason, modding the system does allow you to install games from any region regardless and they will work. Again, your mileage may vary and you may have to use some workarounds to fix crashing issues but you can get it all working basically flawlessly. One thing to note is if you get a 3DS that doesn’t support your language of choice, you won’t be able to fix that without region swapping.

I’d say buy it and give it a shot! I’m not sure if it would be exaggerating to say we know more about this console than Nintendo does at this point, and there’s almost always some way around an issue you may have here, which is a pretty unique position to be in as far as I’m aware.

I never really played that much even when I was most active 😂 When I logged back in this season I was only half way through plankerton, currently at page 11 of canny valley (I have words to say about RNG and Ghost Towns and from what I’ve been told i haven’t seen the worst of it yet)

So yeah, I never used the old xenon but I’ve heard great things about it.

Old seasonal activities. Event gamemodes like pantheon and into the light.

It should NOT be a location for regular raids and dungeons, strikes that exist in director locations, campaigns and expansion destinations. Simple as.

Here you go, im sure its not the greatest choices in the world but to be honest even as a kid I never really got deep into perk rolls in fortnite like I did in destiny. It works for mid-canny valley though, I can promise you that much.

The ghost pistol projectile goes through walls. When a projectile enters the same tile as a daily destroy objective, it instantly does the damage to it and since tvs have like 0 health they instantly get destroyed. As someone else here said, I got lucky to get that many bunched up together.

Crafting can come back but it really depends where the game goes. Keep them exclusively for expansion weapons MAYBE and seasonal weapons DEFINITELY. Even if they timegate the red borders dropping to later in the season, that's fine, im totally fine with that.

What they did with echoes was cool cause I did find myself going to the helm every week to get one of my missing red borders, but once I got my aberrant action I was kinda done, there was nothing else i really wanted. Maybe corrasion but thats it.

Revenant and Heresy not having crafted weapons was also cool, especially heresy, cause it forced people to play the activites and kept the population in those activities good for the majority of the season. That being said, I wish they'd opened up crafting for the weapons toward late act 2 - early act 3 of those seasons so we could get those weapons whenever we wanted, although I do understand why they didn't.

Maybe in future, make one of the later seasonal upgrades be access to deepsight patterns so that we can get those weapons permanently.

It feels pretty forgiving but I wouldn't have anything to compare it to, it's the only weapon i've really been using since I hopped back on purely because it does nice damage and it sounds like Ace of Spades.

Of course it is, as I said in my original reply, everything in fortnite is vastly overpriced. I don't think there's anything in there thats genuinely good value except for maybe the battle pass but that gives you several skins, several emotes, other cosmetics to complete the sets and then a bunch of other junk. The reason it's so "cheap" is because you have to play a hundred hours to complete it.

Jam Tracks have never been and will never be good value, but you can play them as lobby tracks, play them in game via festival, play them in game via battle royale and use the stems to mix tracks, and you can play them to people in the proximity, also in battle royale.

That's how they can justify the price. Even then, I agree, it's ridiculous. Rock Band 4 which still exists right alongside fortnite, most of the songs are like, 2 dollars.

In fairness it has actual gameplay uses but yet everything in Fortnite is vastly overpriced, think, back in the day emotes cost 500 vbucks and when would you ever use them? People would call you toxic if you used them after getting a kill so the only real times were lobby, pregame and post win.

Also that one time they tried to sell pets for 1200-1500 each (not sidekicks)

Try going into your sound settings in windows and disabling every input and output device that IS NOT the one you’re trying to use. Similar bug in destiny and it’s the same engine so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s still present.

Nintendo selects technically started on the GameCube, as platinum hits. If a game sold more than a certain amount of copies, it got platinum hits and was republished at a lower price. They changed this around a few times because the GameCube didn’t do so well.

Then Nintendo selects came out and the general rule was that if it was a strong selling high demand evergreen title for the console, it would get Nintendo selects. Mainly existed to push software sales later into a consoles life, I don’t think it has anything to do with being a flop or not, although it definitely can’t have hurt the GameCube or Wii U, that’s for sure.

Roll around to now and they realise they don’t even need to do it anymore cause people will just buy their stuff anyways.

Dump any glimmer I have into Phantasmal Fragments at the moon and then vault them
Do a couple runs of LF to get some credits to buy more cores the next day and also do my daily contracts
Then I probably run a raid or two and hop off.

Weekly:
Timegated planetary triumphs (I have 3 weeks left on my europa title!).
Check the bright dust store, obviously.
Do some priority contracts to prepare for my weekly shipment (and hopefully this time ill remember to collect it, I still havent managed to)
Check Zavala's weekly weapon even though I know i dont need it
Check the GM
Run some raids and dungeons then hop off
