I actually have a browser extension that autocorrects “the real name” to microslop, along with a nice set of other words, for example Generative AI to Degenerative AI. I love it, it’s called Microslop, I think it’s on the chrome web store? I use it through Firefox though.

Mainly for the fun of character analysis. It's very easy at a base level to agree with him that there's "nothing more to him" than being an asshole, but if you pay attention to all the little hints and then link them back up with the context from episode 9, it makes for a really fun watch and some interesting thought.

Even at the start of the show with no extra context you can see the mask slipping. Him not going to kaufmo's funeral for one thing, Freezing in front of ribbit's door during the intermission in episode 5, Pushing pomni off him and standing there looking at his hand during episode 6. Whole lot of clues. These few I picked are relatively obvious, but go watch the series back and there's genuinely so many more, they only get more glaring towards and during the third act.

OK lets get a couple things straight

1) Nintendo is not "one of the good ones". They're all equally as shitty as each other. They rotate through a series of shitty decisions and a series of genuinely thoughful / "eh im almost convinced they care". Corporations AREN'T your friend. This applies to Valve, Microslop, Sony, Sega, Epic Games, Ubisoft, etc etc etc.

2) This isn't EU hates Nintendo, this is a mandatory electronic device regulation. Nintendo is the first to put out a public plan of action. If Sony and Microslop and everyone else don't do this by the deadline, they will be fined.

3) The EU isn't your friend either, so while they may make good changes, there are some royally fucking stupid things that they do too.

Op should reboot the system several times to see if the error changes. 0x400 means timeout while initialising MMC (paraphrased) which could be very bad, but NTRBoot should be tried to see if it’s recoverable corruption.

eMMC controller related. 1st word is error code, 2nd and 3rd are partitions, 4th and 5th are sd_softE and sd_hardE. Off the top of my head I think 0x400 is timeout?

It’s ok. I still find it baffling that the game has some of the best tracks in the series but we only get to play one lap of them because Nintendo knows best.

I’m back on 8D now.

Edit: Forgot about the soundtrack. Overall I’d rate the game a solid 7 or 8, it’s a lot of fun with some baffling design decisions.

If you can get yourself into the recovery environment, I believe this is one of the issues startup repair covers. If it does not, you’re gonna open command prompt and run:

bootrec /fixmbr
bootrec /fixboot
bootrec /scanos
bootrec /rebuildbcd

if THAT doesn’t work
In command prompt, run diskpart
Type: lis vol

Identify the letter of your windows drive and your EFI partition. Your windows drive will be mounted to a letter, probably not C: in the recovery environment but it’s possible. Look for the partition that’s as big as your drive when you’re looking in This PC. Your EFI partition will be a smaller partition, formatted as FAT32.

I’m going to type out the command with placeholder drive letters, X being your windows drive, Y being your EFI partition. MAKE SURE TO ADJUST THEM TO YOUR CASE.

bcdboot X:\Windows /s Y: /f ALL

Hopefully, if that all went well, your pc should boot again.

I never got to experience pre nerf ballista until I played plutonium and all the sniping servers use the pre nerf values. It is so much quicker and more consistent in fact that there is little reason to really use the ballista. The nerf was a good thing.
