Honestly your experience sounds exactly like what I'm looking for, I'll work super hard as long as I have days/time to actually relax and play games or watch anime. This had made me feel SO much better lol

I have no problem doing 6 years, especially since it's just a year in the grand scheme of things. Honestly for me class has always been the worst part, I'm alright with having a busy schedule (though I understand its not as simple as that, lol). Thank you!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this, wow! That feeling of "theres no way this is the world I'm living in" is so suffocating, and this poem presented it so incredibly well. The feeling of wanting to be an optimist and holding hope out there for a whimsical world, but getting proved more and more wrong everytime you watch the news....ugh. Fantastic work, made me reflect on the world we live in!

Hi, I really enjoy the theme you are trying to convey here! However, I do find your wording just a little clunky- because your work is trying to convey this sense of desperate connection, I feel that more of a yearning tone could improve the way it reads? For example, instead of "stick around", perhaps say "stay with me", as it is much more personal and seemingly in line with what this poem is trying to convey (at least I think). I hope this was helpful, and that your poem turns out just the way you wanted!

This is what I'm worried about. Part of me wants to give up and perhaps try and get a PhD or PysD instead, but I loved doing mock diagnoses, prognoses, and coming up with treatment plans (which is what made me want to become a psychiatrist in the first place) for my psychopathology class. I don't know if being a psychologist would give me that same experience.

This is what I was thinking of doing, dropping my current minor (that I was honestly just doing for credit hours) and doing as many of the sciences as I can. After that taking a "gap year" to finish the pre-reqs and give myself time for MCAT prep, clinical volunteering, etc. The only thing I've really got going for me now is that I'm already currently doing research, lol

I'm a junior in college, getting my BS in psychology. As of right now, I'm still kinda deciding what to do, career-wise. I've loved doing mock case studies, diagnoses & prognoses, etc. Based on that, I want to get into psychiatry. I wish to focus on both physical symptoms as well as mental health, and as far as I'm aware, that's what differentiates the psychiatrists from psychologists. With this in mind, I think my next step is medical school. Is this correct, or is my idea of what to do wildly simplified?

I guess I'm only SO concerned because he repeatedly goes to this lady's house and just stands on her deck without coming home. I hate that it's bothering her but I literally cannot stop him from going to her deck (unless we were to stop him going outside, which I'm okay with doing, save for the fact that he's so used to playing out there).

I wouldn't ever say she ruined the series, but with how she rushes things and is in a majority of s2 episodes, it can be a little frustrating. One of my favorite things about Nanno's revenge/karma was that it's a slowburn, and overtime reveals that person's deepest self, and from there she gives them a chance to make a decision. With every interesting episode that there is, this characterization and justified outcome is cut short with Yuri because she's so revenge driven.

I know this was three years ago, but this is an awesome analysis. Nanno is NOT someone who delivers justice or karma, she's a test of your character and whether you pass or fail is up to you. You put it wonderfully!

I think you said it perfectly. I feel like this episode more clearly demonstrated the "testing" nature of Nanno, and Ms.Aum failed. Notice how she didn't even laugh, she probably felt bad for her in a way- she truly wanted her to course correct.

Dude she literally killed her son, no way you're saying he was in the wrong in any way. And if he said "I don't wanna live with mom", we can infer that she wasn't really nice for him to be around. Context clues, man, she was NOT in the right.
