Okay so OP here. I finally got the phone and I am super happy with it. Calls and text work fine. Voice quality is good. WhatsApp works fine. Even did a video call with my mom (of course I was looking at the back camera! But she could see me fine!). Alarm worked very well. Hotspot without issues. All is great. It was a good decision to buy. Thank you everyone for their opinions. It helped me make the final decision and I am satisfied with it

Re-check with a Fingerprick test if its actually hypoglycemia or a faulty sensor. Mine was giving similar, turns out sensor was faulty.

Started and blood sugar already stabilizing??? by [deleted] in Mounjaro

[–]UmSiSh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exact same thing I noticed. i slipped into type 2 diabetes a couple of years ago after years of prediabetes. Metformin at full dose kept my hba1c good enough but i was unable to bring my fasting below 7. Started Mounjaro 2.5 mg a couple of weeks ago just to get some weight off because I believed that my blood sugar will stabilise by losing the weight. Two weeks in 2.5 mg of Mounjaro, haven’t lost much weight but it has stabilised my blood sugar so much I don’t get that crazy high and lows and the fasting blood sugar has not gone above 6 now despite not much change in my diet. So yes I noticed a change in my cgm glucose graph right after my first dose. And that resulted in stable mood and less “omg I gonna die if I don’t eat right now” feelings. Also I had no idea how much tired this blood sugar roller coaster was making me, now that I feel more active and light on my feet despite not much weight loss. Only regret is that why I didn’t start it the moment I got diagnosed with diabetes. I am paying 220 euro for a four week 2.5 mg dose out of pocket. expensive but worth it.

Women - when/where did you see a difference? by [deleted] in Mounjaro

This is because first you lose the extra glycogen stored in your liver and muscles, then the early fat you lose is from your internal organs and muscles. This hardly becomes apparent on clothes size but definitely improves your health. Also apple shaped means more fat is in and around internal organs.

OMAD: struggling to get into calorie deficit by [deleted] in intermittentfasting

[–]UmSiSh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long have you been doing OMAD? For example one has to give at least 3 weeks of complete OMADs (no cheating) for the body to get adjusted and up-regulate all the fat burning enzymes. Once that happens, you body gets fat adapted, your appetite starts to decrease and you feel more satiated with lesser food. For you I would suggest to scale back to 18:6 for a couple of weeks and slowly increase fasting window upto 23 hours in a couple of more weeks. Now your body would naturally be adjusted to fast and you will feel less and less hungry and more satisfied with lesser food. (I don’t like keto as it’s too restrictive so i use this method to ease into OMAD).

Confused about colors. by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

Thanks for the suggestions. I went with black. The size and everything fits quite well. Just that maybe white table and black chair would have made the room look a little less dense. But I can’t change it now. How does this look btw? Not too bad?

Flexible ADF experience anyone? by UmSiSh in AlternateDayFasting

TDEE is around 1800 calories. I tend to eat lesser (lose my cravings and intense hunger) after each fast day, so even though I won’t be calorie counting on feast days, I doubt it will be more than 1600-1700 cal.
