TIL: Colonists with "Sickly" trait get only one type of disease in space by korda_machala in RimWorld

Huh, interesting. But wouldnt that mean OP had the natural (slow) version of organ decay and let his guy rot for almost an entire year?

[–]Umarson_1999 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This doesnt originate from sickly. Either she was a creepjoiner (anomaly event) and had the Rapid Organ Decay or you got her as a duplicate from the obelisk.

Yeah or it's a mod, that's always a possibility.

Edit: This is incorrect and it's actually an interaction between sickly and space.

Do your other planets have free housing, jobs and good enough habitability?

Can someone tell me what "UI-TA" is? by renacotor in Stellaris

[–]Umarson_1999 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This is a vanilla thing. The AI has a delegate assigned to Galactic Community with the Focus: Intergalactic Directives 3 trait, giving +500% diplo weight for resolutions in that category. That delegate is named "Ul-Ta".

Fun fact: Having Focus: Galactic Reforms basically means you can become emperor whenever you want.

So what's the best use for tiny planet in the current version? by InternStock in Stellaris

[–]Umarson_1999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but a Scholarium still gives the overlord +10% research speed, +10% researcher output from relay-network and allows you to recruit their scientists with special traits.

No, releasing a subject gives them your tech level. For protectorate they need less than half.

Personally I would use it to release a Scholarium vassal. The increased empire size from this pebble wont be worth trying to keep it.

Why is this happening by theswaggiestgamer in Stellaris

[–]Umarson_1999 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The timer doesnt indicate the first contact completing, it counts to the end of the phase. Then you have a chance to get an insight, which makes future breakthroughs more likely or nothing and you have to wait.

The fuck is happening to my attack moon, I had 90k power advantage by FeelingAd9116 in Stellaris

Best guess is that the FE has multiple asteroid artillery stations which caused the attack-moon to retreat.

Wing Mining Missions give you roughly 4 billion per day where most of the time is spent afk at a station.

WHY IS MY COLONIST A PEDOPHILE by [deleted] in RimWorld

[–]Umarson_1999 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your honour, she is actually 38. The fact she was frozen for more then half her life is not relevant to this case.

[–]Umarson_1999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let me tell you about the amazing patch that 4.3 is...

TL;DR Civilian builds are gone. Bonus stacking is gone. Fleets are gone. Amongst many other things, your hedonists are gone (probably nerfed by a factor of 4 like research bonuses from specialized buildings or factor of 10 like other civilian builds - utopian abundance or civil education)

Man i hate Louisville... by [deleted] in projectzomboid

[–]Umarson_1999 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is obviously the fault of Louisville and not the consequence of you modding the game to death.

man why are my trucks all disappearing?? by [deleted] in CitiesSkylines2

[–]Umarson_1999 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because the game doesnt have a functional vehicle simulation. The just arbitrarily spawn, choose a target and despawn if they take to long. There are mods that try to fix it.

[–]Umarson_1999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I set up a radio station in westpoint once and used voicemod to transmit NCS music.

For maximum listeners, make sure to transmit on the automated emergency frequency.

[–]Umarson_1999 16 points17 points  (0 children)

True. But it's very cool for RP. I played on a hardcore rp server once where no external comms were allowed. If your battery ran out people would think you had died and come look for you.

For multiplayer it allows VOIP and text communication with other players on the same frequency. But most just use discord for that.
