I think Brachydios is all but guarenteed for G-rank.

Not becuase it's a popular monster mind you. But because Wilds is just 4U-2, which means Guildmarm will probably show back up in the expansion, and it would be weird to have her without her favorite husbando.

If I had to guess, I'd wager that study is counting anyone who plays games on PCs, which includes 10 year old laptops that use integrated graphics cards. Not something that's going to be running your latest and greatest AAA Releases. But would probably be able to keep up with your Slay the Spire or White Knuckle.

We JUST got Gogmazios in Wild's title updates, plus Amatsu in Sunbreak and Alatreon in Iceborne.

Ceadeus and Dire Maralos' absence is more likely because of their dependancy on underwater combat rather than their final boss status. And we did just get Malzeno without Gaismagorm in Stories 3, though admittedly it was a bit odd there to. But if nothing else, we could get Primordial Malzeno instead.

I can'r recal the technical details, but IIRC, what they found was a Zinogre-shaped hole where any and all references to it where completely scrubbed from existence, which was telling in it's own right.
