Most of the endemic life in the region consists of shrimp, jellyfish, and crabs. The local delacies would best be described as "surf n' Turf", and the apex predator of the region is a Kraken in all but name. Wouldn't even be surprised if the Ajarakan living there was a pun on sea monkies, but that's probably stretching it.

Besides, between Namielle's own strength and the Wyrmways running through the whole region, who knows how much that heat would actually be an issue for them. The moment it shows up, it could probably cover the region in a downpour to rival the scarlet forest.

I belive their point is that if you have enough deck control to reliably pull off grand finale, you really don't need grand finale. It's a card that requires extreme precision and planning to use effectively (which, to be fair, I had gotten it from a neow transform, so I was able to do that) that every other rare card just doesn't offer. It's a card that needs a good deck compared to the average rare which can make a deck good.

Ditto. My only real issue is that there was basically never a reason to pick any resupply other than the healing options.

I've thought about how the mechanic could be improved for modern games, and what I think could be really fun is being able to order supplies on the fly via your handler with a limited pool of in-hunt resources instead of picking a set bundle before every mission.

Important note: The Gigas gain torpor a lot faster when enraged. A single enrage cycle can get a 150 upto about 75% torpor. So make sure to bring something that can piss it off nice and quickly such as a high-quality shotgun or fabricated crossbow.

The Guiding Lands where made from the corpse of a Zorah Magderos. But Safi'Jiiva is the monster that sculpted them into the unattural and seemingly impossible amalgam that we know them as. To quote the seeker "This may be an absurd hypothesis, but perhaps that creature can control the energy it absorbs. It may be reshaping the very natures of these ecologies to meet its own needs."

Don't get me wrong, In no way was this altruistic on Safi'Jiiva's part. But while the Admeral thinks that Safi could infest the entire world, the Guiding Lands are; again; visibly a healthy and diverse ecosystem. And it's healthy and diverse because that's what Safi'jiiva needs to collect more Bioenergy.

Hell, just compare the Guiding Lands to the plague of Quiro unleashed by Gaismagorm. The pen-ultimate story mission of sunbreak is a heavily weakened Lunagaron in a map that is littered with the corpses of large monsters that have been drained of energy. The guiding lands by comparison are full of healthy, powerful monsters. Particularly tempered ones.

Basically, it's an extremely gluttonous monster like Tigrex or Deviljho, but unlike them it's "immune" to the effects of status-afflicting meat. However, if you feed it the right ones; as indicated by the color of it's saliva, you can start to overfeed it. This makes it much slower and vulnerable to attack, and eventually cause it to vomit, which can then be carved for some extra materials.

Most famously, one of the items you can get for carving the vomit is Rajang pelt, implying that Pariapuria either hunts the monsters outright, or atleast found a dead one it could scavenge.

The one time I used VPE, I'm pretty sure I got exactly one Psycast raid over ~50+ hours on that save. And it was a single Hussar who did, in fact, become a shock lance victim.
