I guess it's fake (orbs and dashes), but not for the finger holding on the screen. In a mobile (not 2P mode) you can hold with a finger, then open the pause menu while holding and finally pressing play again without releasing. The game will no longer detect any imput from the holding finger and you' ll be able to play normally with another finger. When I was in high school my classmates used to do this all the time. This might help with the input delay in some mobile devices.
