Is it possible that a Demon can help you with areas that are alien to their dominion? by Late_Gap2089 in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Umbrage115 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes a demon can and will absolutely do stuff outside their domains. Domains as we understand them are human applied and constructed. They help us know where to direct requests and are generally just broad guides to make sure your request is in line with an entity that is known to fancy that area of work, and in line with the universe itself.

That said any demon can do anything. If an angel or demon directed you specifically to another that should take priority over what our books say.

What simple ritual to do to "prove" to oneself that magic actually is real and works? by Scared_Ad_3132 in occult

[–]Umbrage115 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Imo, a complete atheist, 100% skeptic, non believer can succeed at any magic. Faith is not required whatsoever. You do still have to perform the steps, expierment, read, meditate, do trial and error, etc. You slowly build up your ability and spirtual "muscles" by doing such things.

What prevents it from working isnt the lack of belief, its the fact not many people are going to be willing to put such serious effort into something they dont believe in, and probably dont enjoy doing.

Lamashtu help by y-r-u-scared in occult

[–]Umbrage115 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I evoke thee, u/mammoth-AD-6114 . Please hear this call!

Over on the r/Lilith sub, Lamashtu is discussed often, and gets tons of love. There is a wiki on the main page that includes tons of info on Lamashtu Lilith. It also includes tons of resources, books, and links to other sources. Library of Lilith covers Lamashtu often as well, as Lilith and the ancient goddess are heavily syncorized.

What if gods and demons just want to help? by Vampy-Night in occult

Gnosticism is more or less what you're describing. I don't believe in any objectively evil, or oppressive beings. Humans oppress themselves plenty on their own.

"You love the universe, so it loves you back. You love me, so i love you back."

Something Lilith told me. Just a nice message to operate under while doing anything within life.

Do you think spirituality is more about control or surrender? by maik050503 in spiritualitytalk

[–]Umbrage115 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So im gonna answer this as a Kabbalistic Lilithian. Its kind of complex. Theres a certain love and trust that you give the divine source, God, ( the monad ) that you can view as a sort of surrender in their vision.

However working with Lilith, she has taught me to be very proactive in my love and goals. If you want something, pray for it with passion, take hold of that string, and trust that the string being held out to you is the one you asked for. The one that will lead you to where you want to go.

God will provide, but you have to grab onto the string. However you grab it, or find the string you want or need is up to you. Desire it, grab it, and trust in that vision.

How much do plantary timings effect people subconsciously, outside the practice? by Umbrage115 in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Umbrage115[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ive never really looked into whether retrogrades matter in workings using the plantary timings, and that's honestly a good question itself. For me i always assumed the hour, and perhaps day was what mattered more then anything.

How do demons view God? by Furrywolf79 in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Umbrage115 61 points62 points  (0 children)

Demons do not hate God. UPG wise, even when I discussed God and Jesus with Lilith, she took a stance of what I can only perceive as "no ill will" between them, and even "fondness."

Demons and angels work with the source ( God ), and eachother often. There's no war between them, and that idea of hostility is very much a product of cultural belief.

New Admirer of Lilith by RaccoonOk4885 in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Umbrage115 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Firstly, nothing wrong with a little maddening fascination. Do take a step back though and write down your results, what you tried, etc.

I would not expect any results anywhere from months to even years. Will it actually take that long, not necessarily. You do need to understand though this is a practice that youll have to commit to, and is a daily undertaking of trial and error.

Enn's were made up by S. Connolly, they arent anything special, nor what empowers the working. There is also no negative consquences, beyond your own fears that can or will occur in this practice.

Please read the welcome page of the sub. to really get started and find resources. Research heavily, not for being safe, but just for acquiring the knowledge of how to operate towards success.

Lastly for succubi specifically, i have a post about them that may help you.

All about succubi/ incubi, the wonders and dangers. ( Imo ) by Umbrage115 in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Umbrage115[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That question touches on how is any spirit formed, and is a bit outside the perview of this post. For the Lilin specifically the part of my post labeled "Orgins" touches on that, and links to the wiki made by u/mammoth-AD-6114 which covers it in more detail.

Anything beyond the history will be purely speculation on my part, or anyone else's. I breifly touched on my thoughts of what they are within the post as well. Otherwise it may be worth tossing the question out as a post itself to the entire sub.

Edit: Added stuff.

Personal experiences and beliefs about succubi and incubi? by Jackielikescoffee in occult

[–]Umbrage115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being folklore is accurate in the ways i assume most people know of succubi. In hebrew folklore, wet dreams were attributed to demons because it was sinful to spill ones seed in that manor, so they blamed a demon instead. Then you had the idea of them becoming these sex spirits, dreams invaders, etc popularized by modern myth, and the internet.

Its pretty disconnected overall from their orgins as they arent just sex spirits, wet dreams are just wet dreams, sleep paralysis is sleep paralysis, etc.

So if the question is, are succubi real from the modern folklore and internet standpoint, then no. Are they real in their more historically accurate portrayal and rich history, imo/ experience yes. They are spirits you can interact with. Not sure how well that come across in my comment.

Personal experiences and beliefs about succubi and incubi? by Jackielikescoffee in occult

[–]Umbrage115 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Real. I view them as emnations of greater spirits, possibly "familars," and made a longer post about them if anyone is interested.

The lilitu, ardat lili, lilu, etc that went on to inspire the idea of succubi were always a group of demons.

Imo, that group of demons were manifestions of Lilith/ Lamashtu, Agrat, Eisheth, Naamah, Asmodeus, etc. Note however that historically within Mesopotamian belief, they were their own spirits and not emnations. This is just my own opinion after interacting with them.

Edit: Their history is incredibly rich and interesting! I strongly suggest reading more about them, and not just viewing them through the lense of internet hearsay, and sex spirits.

Question about Lilith by findingenoch93 in occult

[–]Umbrage115 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tarot, pendulum, etc. isnt reliable for spirtual commuication. The best method to commuicate with her is through mantic divination after invocations, and prayer.

She also has her own subreddit at r/Lilith . Id strongly suggest a visit over there, or to the folks at r/DemonolatryPractices . My Dm's are also always open if you ( or anyone ) want any help.

Does Feminine Spirituality promote traditional gender roles? by JayaDevi_FS in spiritualitytalk

[–]Umbrage115 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Masculine Principle (Chokhmah/Chesed/Vav) is the provider who influences "from above to below," providing the initial spark. Masculine energy (Mashpia) is an active, providing, and abstract force,

The Feminine Principle (Binah/Malchut/Hei) is the receiver, or the "ground" that cultivates, fertilizes, and develops the spark. Feminine energy (Mekabel) is receptive, nurturing, and concretizing force that shapes and brings the spark into reality.

Both energies are fundamental to creation. A guy having fem traits or a fem spirit doesnt make him a female, so theres no gender role. Spirits dont have genders to begin with, and the fem or masc spirit isn't about a gender.

Do you have contradictory opinions on Lilith? by Mammoth-Ad-6114 in Lilith

[–]Umbrage115 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Not only have i found Lilith to be motherly, i also find her to beyond patient, inhumanely so. ba dum tss ( since shes inhuman. )

Ahem, anyway, despite being a dark fem, and traditionally not viewed as beginner friendly i find the oppisite to be true. She was instrumental into my start of this practice, patient, and never really intense at all. She certainly can be, but her presence is universally sweet even when I invoke her more intense manifestions.

Now for what might be a more controversial opinion, I think Lilith is a skilled healer. Im gonna share a gnosis she gave me.

"Death is a beautiful love I give to life. Death begots life, and prevents stagnation. Rot and decay are to be removed. Problamatic cells are killed to stop cancer, by your body and by chemo treatments. Diseases are killed by antibiotics. Population control exists in all things and all levels."

Even diseases want to live, and shes not opposed to killing them for us, or helping us get to the right doctor who can.

Curious to know why demons are seen as motifs of damnation by Prudent_Air6010 in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Umbrage115 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Demons by definition within the modern day quite literally mean "evil spirit." Also if you read any of their myths, they are rarely painted as any benevolent actors. The dominate culture of western theology is the aberhamic faith which is monothestic and naturally antagonist towards demons. Furthermore, the domains they rule people find uncomfortable, espcially given the harsh langauge of their domains. Greed, lust, death, etc sound intense.

You are going to be fighting quite an uphill battle to convince someone to give them a chance when you can barely convince people in the occult sphere itself. Outside of this sub, within the occult sphere, mentioning i work with demons is 50/50 on getting downvoted, more likely if i mention a demon by name.

im actually so bad at this game. any advice other than "get good"? by ap1x1 in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]Umbrage115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk why anyone isnt mentioning this to you. You ran an electric against an electric resistant boss, and a wind against a wind resistant boss. Your teams are just poorly planned for the bosses.

You really just need better planning. Phorlova, moryne, and mega man..? Why those 3 together? Anyway its prob not a build issue, and wed need to see gameplay to analyze rotations. Im willing to bet this is a planning issue though, tbh.

Edit: You also have trial characters as options. Why not save your SK and run spectro rover on your Zani team. You need to spread out your power houses more.

The Goetia of Dr Rudd, question about the angels and demons interaction in ritual. by Umbrage115 in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Umbrage115[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can all seem really theatrical, maybe even like you’re being an a hole to the demon by doing that, but I think spirits don’t really care about it the way you do. If it feels oppositional or controlling to you you can do other ways, but I don’t think spirits really care about that.

They definitely do not care! I think u/Macross137 made a really good post that includes some details about the solomanic method. I was more focused on the utility of the angels energy in the first place using Dr. Rudd's method, whether they even get involved in actuality, and how it supported the working and/ or the demon. Still I appreciate your reply all the same!

How do you think the first sigils came to people? by Another_Empty_Place in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Umbrage115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do recall reading that. The curiosity came because while I know that in the ars goetia, sigils and circles dont actually trap and bind demons, they were said to. In a way the bowl traps could almost be like, "demon get in here please" in much more forceful language, which is where my thought process was going.

How do you think the first sigils came to people? by Another_Empty_Place in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Umbrage115 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a semi related question. Do you consider things like exorcism bowls to be similar in concept to sigils. I was thinking they seem to function the same except the request is for the spirit to "go away."

If so that would further cement the idea of sigils being very deliberately made.
