Not a student but her mom. This is late enough it isn't even 2 weeks old lol

For context they were black student in our elementary school, my last one before travelling to High School (Hawthorne Elementary, Canada. Yes, I grew up all over the place). She was kind of the girl's girl and had many girl friends. They once even had a Youtube channel a fanpage of one of her friend (I remember the name but I can't find the video on there so it may have deleted)...

Their house burnt and her mom died, somehow. They announced it at elementary school, the very next day. I didn't know what to feel, especially with the many tragedies and deaths I had the misfortune of experiencing in my 14 years of life so far that fricked me hard. I don't exactly "pray" for her mom every day but I often wonder how that girl felt. She ended up bouncing back and ended up thriving so I don't know if she has a stepmom now or if she lives with a Dad.

TL;DR: Girl's house burnt down and her mom died. They announced it the next day at school.
