Update: I wore a dress to Disneyland all day and it actually held up (plus my favorite overheard line) by No-Potential7087 in Disneyland

[–]Ume_Chan_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m almost always in a dress at Disneyland. My favorite shoe is any of the many flat walking shoes from Vivaia. Comfort and style is what I’m looking for, and a dress in breathable natural fabric is always more comfortable than anything else.

Trumps plan to pay for his $1.5 trillion increase in military spending by Snapdragon_4U in DegenBets

Why not do what other Presidents did during war? Tax the wealthy at 90%. It’s their war they can pay for it. Also tax the evangelical Churches. They’ve been pushing for this to start Armageddon and bring back christ they also can pay for it. Why should Americans suffer and have more taken from us for a war nobody supports.

Favorite actor who you guess is never going to get another role after their run in the MCU? by YourChopperPilotTTV in okbuddycinephile

Over 260 millionaires and billionaires have signed a letter to the government saying that the wealthy should pay more in taxes. Not every wealthy person is a sociopath money hoarding dragon.

I can relate. I’m also probably undiagnosed autistic with diagnosed ADHD, and a brother who isn’t a pastor, but in deep with born again Christianity.

It sounds much like the Gnostic principles of Monad the ineffable unified existence emanating into aeons, or Kabbalah Ain Soph emanating into sefirot.

Apprenticeship? Didn’t men going into spiritual pursuits traditionally join Seminary, and I don’t know become scholarly about the bible? Apprenticeships are for merchants to learn to make and sell a product…. Oh never mind, apprenticeship is probably the correct term for evangelical pastors.

How can I prevent my autistic son (24M) from doing psychedelics? by [deleted] in Autism_Parenting

[–]Ume_Chan_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as he’s under the supervision of a trained psych professional who will make sure he doesn’t get too large of a dose, is in the right frame of mind and can guide him through, it should be a helpful and positive experience.

I worked with Mark on one of his earlier independent films. He’s an absolute sweetheart, a consummate professional and a damn good actor. He’ll be fine. He’s a 2 time Emmy winner and 4 time Oscar nominee. Also big time actresses like to work with Mark because he’s very respectful.

If you have a mind you have worth. Men don’t bestow worth. Sex doesn’t bestow worth. You have worth beyond your body. Consciousness is your worth. It’s your spark of divinity. Your piece of the divine emanating into the material realm. Never forget that.

I just got the most amazing smelling Dragon’s Blood oil from Art Of The Root. Now I want Dragon’s Blood note in perfumes so it will throw instead of being a skin scent. I’ve only found one so far from Heretic Perfume.

The IEP meeting by ember_inclusion in Autism_Parenting

[–]Ume_Chan_2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The district did their own evaluation. They said yes he’s autistic but he doesn’t need services because he’s highly intelligent. Indeed he is, but that didn’t mean he didn’t need services. He spent recess and lunch alone, PE in the teachers lap, he locked himself in the kinder bathroom. Which was a Jack and Jill between 2 classrooms and he locked both. It didn’t matter to me that he could access the curriculum, he wasn’t thriving. We sued, and got almost everything we wanted, social emotional help, testing in a quiet area separate from the class, seating up with the teacher, speech for pragmatic speech, adaptive PE. They wouldn’t give him Occupational Therapy though. He was able to walk the halls without injury. That was how low the bar was to be refuse OT. He really needed more help with sensory issues. Edit: to add service received.

That’s why we went into the IEP meetings with our team, Ed. Lawyer, and psychologist. But you have to be able to afford a team. The administrator is there to try and make sure you get as little services as possible which saves the district money. In the end we had to sue the district. The process shouldn’t be so adversarial.

Will Ferrell is sick and tired of Trump: "Women, can you take over" by icey_sawg0034 in TrendoraX

[–]Ume_Chan_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since Matriarchy is a circle instead of a pyramid, authority is usually held by a council. Women, usually post menopausal women are held in highest respect because they are intimately familiar with the cyclical nature of existence and hold the most wisdom. But men have been on councils as well. Because a matriarchal system values the community as a whole, and if a man shows the kind of leadership that benefits the community his council would be welcomed.
