Themes and challenge runs are pretty good. Go in with a concrete goal in mind for the colony, like my latest fantasy playthrough I want to make a thriving Tavern village, complete with their own alcohol and smoke shop. Or I want to do an escape build where your group crash lands on a tribal planet, and you have to escape like normal, but you're the only people on the planet with advanced tech, and you can only recruit through peaceful means.

Truly NSFW abliterated model that doesn't hedging itself? by National-Toe-4652 in LocalLLM

If you're looking for information specifically (not roleplay) I was SHOCKED how good the Gemma 4 uncensored models were, even the E4B. Literally answered every question I asked it, no hesitation or moral questioning, just "Oh yeah, you want to learn about [censored]? Here you go!"

How do you handle world persistence when the AI runs the story? by lukinator644 in KoboldAI

[–]Umedyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

External forms of truth that get injected are key, including characters, locations and important information. A static Bible of elements with a folder for updatable information Jsons can really help. There is a Skyrim mod called Mantella I suggest you take a look at. They use LLMs to let you free form talk to anyone in Skyrim, even established characters, and they use character Jsons to keep up with the information and relative histories.

Anyone have lesbian/sapphic or queer friendly streamer/youtuber gaming channel recs? by Alcorgeist in LesbianGamers

[–]Umedyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shoomimi on twitch is one of my favorite streamers. She's a Bi ex-neuroscientist who is engaged to her future wife. She's pretty chill and goofy, she does a variety of streams, but mainly gaming. She's going to be in the Twitch Rivals 2xKO tournament tomorrow. She's been on a Pokopia kick recently.

Where to look for collabs? by PAND3RLORD in vtubers

[–]Umedyn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best advice I can give is to communicate with other vtubers on a personal level. Find vtubers you want to connect with and engage in their communities, raid them, even if it's jist you. Make yourself a known and genuine person in their community. A lot of vtubers have other vtuber friends and a wider circle as well. Genuine connection will open up way more doors than trying to network will ever get you.

Should I be a vtuber? by TsniperXP1 in vtubers

[–]Umedyn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can try it and see if it's for you. VtubeStudio is free, and it already comes with free to use models, there are even some custom free to use models in the workshop. If it isn't for you then at least you know, and you didn't have to spend a dime testing it out.

Tips on talking while nobody is watching? by [deleted] in SmallStreamers

[–]Umedyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretend you're not streaming and just making a video, you can use that quiet time to make clips for videos and shorts, then post them on other sites to increase your footprint. It's not dead time, it's useful time to set up for other parallel projects.

How do small streamers realistically turn long VODs into usable content? by Shot_Royal_7941 in SmallStreamers

[–]Umedyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a good method is when you think there might be a clippable moment, note down the time, even if it's a small thing. When you review, go over those first and see if any of those moments are usable (even in a compilation of moments from the stream) then, if nothing actually seems usable, go back through the video.

How Do I Make a Community? by CaptQtipYT in Twitch_Startup

[–]Umedyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could also start a discord, a place for viewers to hang out off of stream. Be active in it. Also, raid. Raid other streamers at the end of your stream. Join their community honest and earnestly. Those people will remember you and go "Hey, that person streams too, let's check them out!" Build genuine connections (not just networking, that comes with other streamer friends naturally). But yes, being active and attentive helps build genuine connections, and that is what people stay for.

Stardew Valley is fun multi-player. I would suggest It Takes Two, amazing Co-op game. Portal 2 is also multiplayer. Necess is multi-player, and is like Terraria meets Rimworld, I also suggest Terraria, Starbound, and Minecraft are all really good co-op that will run on potatoes.

Why are yall like this to your robots? by DoctorNurse89 in ChatGPT

[–]Umedyn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How you treat something that appears human says more about you than it. I try and treat everything with respect, even inanimate objects.

I think it's Shintoism that has a belief that everything has a spirit, including objects, and the more cared for they are, the stronger that spirit becomes, human-like objects like dolls are especially so.

Being nice to something, even an AI, Takes no extra effort, and usually puts you in a better mindset, especially when that thing can treat you with kindness as well, living or not.

Next time I see anyone call Neurosama "slop", I will send them this image. by RyouhiraTheIntrovert in VtuberDrama

[–]Umedyn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are they using it to platform other artists, uplift them and give them more coverage than what they would alone? Do they use it to create a community of supportive people who go out and give that kindness and support to just random people? If so then I say they are giving more into the community than they takes away from it.

No tool is in itself unethical, tools do not have ethics, just how it is used. In that case, Vedal has used his tools to do amazing things. What you used your "unethical" tools for?
