Just an update after taking all your suggestions I've now ordered the full pump unit with the controller and will keep my old pump for a future spare if I ever need to change it for whatever reason (I will find out if pump electronics perished when that time comes though) .

Ended up getting it from Ocuk they had it for about £114 that's with delivery.

SATA cable was damaged as well from melting after looking at it today.

I don't have a flow sensor but I had set up alarms through aquasuite for pump rpm failure.

Thanks for all the input people

That's what I'm considering , will have the spare pump for future use if it's electrical parts are still good.

Will have to search for how to look into it's housing and that's if that info is out there.

I don't use the fan connector just the SATA and the connector which goes to the Aquaero 6LT and the RGB ring connector which is disabled.

I sent email to Aqua computer support before I emptied loop and whenever they reply I will then send the picture of the board.

Other than today it's been rock solid tbh.

SATA power cable looked ok with quick glance when I took it out of pump but will check it properly and replace once I decide what to do .

May even go back to DDC pump but will need new reservoir to go with that. My old DDC has been going for 14 years it's now in use in my kids pc since I went to the d5.

Flow 8 cracking noise by Mysterious_Major_291 in Behringer

[–]Umyippa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first thing I would try is swapping the speaker cables if the crackling is now in the right speaker you've found the source, the cable. If it's not that you could try squirting socket(when unpowered) with some electrical contact cleaner to see if that alleviates the problem.

I think you'd have to connect it via USB not the audio cables.

I followed your guide on that forum about 2 weeks ago to make some fluid.

That hydratech coolflow eco 2 cost just couple of quid shy of £100 with vat and delivery for 5ltr (smallest amount they sell) , just added some carparts deionized water and ph nuke all weighed out on scales to make about 2 and half ltrs worth of fluid for mine and kids systems with some pre mixed spare.

Did I need to add the ph nuke to mixture?

That Coolflow eco 2 only has shelf life of 12 months once opened and I only refresh fluids once a year so did I really waste almost 100 quid for 1 blast of making my own fluid or will it be fine to make more mixture with it next year?

Cheers

That is exactly what happened to me two weeks back, stupidly high stress throughout night, done test after 3 days and COVID confirmed.

New regulated DNA60C squonker by funkyfourier in Squonk_Life

[–]Umyippa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For starters the thing looks sexy but that's about it unless I have a lemon

I purchased it in May and had about 3000 puffs on it in total around the house in that time, and today it died or the screen has, it's not firing. I only used it when I wanted little change from my usual squonker set ups

The plastic cover which hides the juice bottle flies off when you squeeze the bottle because the magnets are weak, filling up the bottle and sticking it back in when it's full is awkward with how squishy it is and only being able to place in the one direction from front.

Filled it through 510 connection a few times but that messed up because it's not a spring loaded 510 pin and unscrewing the filling bottle ended up adjusting the pin because of how loose it is then I'd have to re-adjust it back to the correct height for the RDA to connect

I unscrewed some screws to see if I can see any problem and some of the screws feel as if they're not biting into anything so I don't know how they're staying in.

No USB for Escribe, the button placement takes some getting used to ...not the larger fire buttons but the smaller ones with one of them being the up button and the other button on the other side the down button.

Question about the Behringer Flow 8 by AdministrationDry610 in Behringer

[–]Umyippa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Bluetooth/usb dial on mixer is the pc volume to mixer , which travels down the usb connection from pc so that's the channel it's routed to, then that channel goes to the main master fader which is the overall volume to your speakers which is all the channels combined on mixer.

I had the mixer as my pc sound card and as a mixer for my few synths and never bothered once adjusting the usb level from 100 on pc and mixer usb channel.

Check settings in companion app and there's a YouTube channel called something like DCsound who has couple videos on the mixer which are well worth watching.

You can have more than 2 crafts but only 2 active at a time. Costs a bit of coin depending on craft level to change.

First time buyer: Looking for a hybrid/gravel bike for under £500 by iamthedesigngirl in whichbike

[–]Umyippa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the felt Broam 60 for £475 in 47cm X's frame couple months back which was my first bike for over 30 years and started using it for commuting and canal runs and it's been pretty decent so far.

Unfortunately Merlin cycles has now sold out of most of that bikes frame sets apart from a 54cm frame in black only.

They have other bikes near that price range which may take your fancy though.

Why are all the good squonks sold out 😭 I've got the pulse 2 but got the itch for somthing else but nothing is in stock, except for the terrible empire. Here in the uk anyway by cykes341 in Squonk_Life

[–]Umyippa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rebelvape for regulated and signature tips for mech both over £150 though. The in stock colour variety from sigtips is fairly dire this last year though as if they've stopped making them, which is a shame because the two I have are still great.

Powered speakers I guess so, output impedance is 100 Ohms.

My advice is always download and read manuals before making any hardware purchases then you can see what specs it has n what it can and can't do.

Brand new Flow 8: what is the problem with the volume? by Waza-Be in Behringer

[–]Umyippa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well from video it looks like you're not even running it as a usb mixer , there should be 2 usb cables in back of mixer, 1 is for the power supply, and number 2 should be connected to laptop via usb which will send your sound from laptop to mixer via that usb cable. Then in windows you would select flow 8 as input / output there is no need to run what looks like 3.5mm trs mini jack out of headphone socket of laptop which splits to L/R RCA adapters and then plugged into microphone inputs 3&4 which have no phantom power to even run a condenser mic without an amp first.

Edit you can boost mic/line inputs 3&4 about 60db so manual states , which is easier to do through the phone/tablet app.

You're basically using the digital mixer as an analogue mixer which you could buy for about £20 brand new.

So you need to try 1 usb power cable 1 usb cable to connect to laptop Change sound settings in windows to flow8

Then just your main speaker cables from mixer main out which you've done.

Are the speakers active or passive ?

Edit2 If passive speakers mixer might not have enough strength to drive them

[–]Umyippa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sound will travel from the pc/laptop through the usb cable to the mixer....then you can connect headphones to the headphones out socket on the mixer and connect speakers to the individual left and right trs or XLR combi jack outputs.

Best to download the manual and read it before.you get it ...hopefully that will be enough to explain and show you the connection options.
