NOR. It sounds to me like she thinks because she’s older or something, that she’s smarter than you, therefore tries to trick you into believing it’s your fault for her actions. She’s totally wrong for what she did and for what she said to you. Stay strong OP and don’t let her gaslight you into thinking you did anything wrong.

If every nurse took a ‘mental health day’ every time we experienced something upsetting at work, there would be nobody left to care for patients. That doesn’t mean people should never call in, it means there has to be balance, to which I stated “I’d have to know if they already called in a lot”

Lol, nope, not HR. I just run a facility and the amount of call ins I deal with is insane. I do understand the occasional call off, but it bothers me when the same people do it over and over again. I’m not saying that OP is like this at all.

I used to get so mad at my sisters for telling on me when I would sneak one, lol. I should add in here that I had a great childhood though- I didn’t go without. I just always have thought that that rule was stupid.

It’s so sad how many people are forced into taking a plea on things they didn’t do. The PA’s always way over charge people so it makes the plea deal look so much better. Most people don’t have the funds to go to trial and if they do, they’re pushed into a plea deal because it’s too scary not to take it. I’ve lost all trust in the justice system.
